• "Poison" by Bell Biv Devoe. A classic and one of my favorite rap songs of all time. But on no occasion is it ok to say "never trust a big butt and a smile, that girl is poison"

• "96,000" from In The Heights. One of the greatest songs in Broadway history, but why the hell does Benny say "Donald Trump and I on the links"???? In no occasion should any reasonable person wanna be friends with him. This only gets a pass since Trump wasn't a politician in the time of the writing of the song, but still... this aged poorly.

What are some of your examples where you listen to and like the song, but when that one lyric shows up you're like... dang.

Hellooo, Any song reccomendations that have similar vibes to songs such as The American Dream by Stardust Legend or Dream Eating Machine by Steam Pianist?

The best way I can describe these songs honestly is industrial vibes or perhaps maybe even steampunk? Anyways if love to hear you guy's thoughts ^^

I don’t quite know what I am searching for but I would like to add some new music to my rotations. I love songs that draw you in. Some of my favorite artists/ albums are Swell Season, the National (Trouble Will Find Me!), Hurray for the Riff Raff, Taylor Swift’s Folklore, Bruce Springsteen, Imogen Heep, and Jose Gonzalez.

On a different note- I also need some more upbeat things… some house party songs? I’ve been in a bit of a phase listening to slower songs.
