Ssssup!

This is a quick post due to repeat questions around verification and posting rules.

How to get Verified ✔︎?

Whether you were summoned, are interested in verifying for a partner sub, or just happened to find us, your first post with us acts as verification!

• Review our 3 simple rules and the posing guide in the community sidebar / rulebook.
• Clearly frame your shot, capturing your 🐍🍑 and showing at least your torso + legs.
• Select the appropriate flair, mark yourself as OC and write a punny title if you want!
• Stay engaged with your post and your fans! Don't be a snek.

Most importantly, be patient, this subreddit is manually managed and we'll usually review and grant verification within 1-2 weeks. At that time, the moderator will tag you in the original post and notify you of verification + update your user flair + add you as an approved user. All we ask is a simple acknowledgement!

I'm Verified ✔︎, now what?

You're a content creator, so get creative and post away!

• We recommend 2-3x posts a week to top the charts. But don't stop there, stay engaged with your fans in the comments.
• Engage with @ theSnakeButt on Instagram & X. Post your 🐍🍑 and tag us and we'll handle the rest!
• Some ideas to get creative with:
  • Oct 1–31 is spooky season. Post your Halloween 🐍🎃 while dressed in a costume!
  • Dec 1–31 is holiday season. Post your Holiday spirited 🐍🍑 while wrapped in lights!
  • Stack subreddit themes. For example sports fans can wear a jersey and pose in SnakeButt. That way your content can qualify for both r/SnakeButt and r/AssAndJerseys!

Reach out to the mods at any time with questions, ideas or fan mail! We love to hear from you.

Happy slithering!
