Z-Wave Not Working on SmartThings Hub V3

I currently have Z-Wave Bali Motorized shades, and none of them have been working for the past few days. I also notice when I try to add new devices I get the following error: “SmartThings Hub can search for devices that support Zigbee, but it's having some issue with using Z-Wave right now.”

1.) I rebooted my smart things hub twice (left it unplugged for over 30 minutes).
2.) I unplugged and replugged all my Z-Wave shades
3.) I attempted to “Refresh Z-Wave network” with no success. It was stuck on this screen for 4+ hours.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Sorta same, all my Zwave are dropping off and causing trouble, now I have had my smarthings hub for a long time(V3). Its dropping all Zwave and hitting repair it just looses the few that were working. Not a big problem, just all my physical light switches are Zwave. Also my virtual switch is offline too. And its kinda hard to reset a switch with no physical body.

Check the status of the Z-Wave radio on your hub at my.smartthings.com/advanced . Go to the hubs menu and look at the Z-Wave section. I had a similar issue, but only about 12 of my 100 Z-Wave devices went offline last week. The only thing I ended up doing was unplugging my hub for an hour, they all came back online after that.

Surprisingly unplugging the hub for an hour fixed the issue, with the exception of one shade. For whatever reason the driver for that one shade defaulted back to the generic Z Wave switch driver, rather than the Window Treatment driver. Thank you!

I got a zwave repeater a while back and haven't had issues since.

The nice thing is it doubles as a night light at the bottom of some stairs

I haven't had this issue with my SmartWings shades, but it sounds like a SmartThings Z-Wave problem. I'd check your hub firmware first. SmartThings is rolling out 0.62.13, which includes a fix for Z-Wave network repair issues.

Good to know. I’m still on 0.62.00007. Anyway, how to force update to the latest firmware?

I don't think you can force update. It will arrive automatically in the next few days (update started on Monday 12th).
