My vampire assistant Carmilla and I just posted episode 4 of our Resident Evil Village run (6pm PT). It opens on a pipe bomb, and somewhere in the castle I end up denying I'm trying to ask Lady D out. Carmilla doesn't buy it.

Honestly, am I the only one who thinks Silver Pines might be one of the best survival horror games of 2026? 😭

I'm not even kidding, this game has some seriously creepy moments, and I love how it builds that unsettling atmosphere. It feels like the kind of horror game more people should be talking about.

I've been playing through it and recording the experience for my small YouTube channel, FirstPatch. I upload full gameplay with no commentary, so you can experience the story, explore the world, and take in all the creepy encounters without someone talking over everything.

I really wanted to share this one with other horror fans because I think it deserves more attention.

What’s there now

• Free video hosting up to 1080p, with categories for gaming, comedy, documentary, music, anime and more
• Likes and dislikes. The dislike button is real and the count is visible.
• Comments, short written reviews, and a channel page
• AI-generated content is labeled (“Full AI” / “Partial AI”), so viewers know what they’re watching or can filter it out.
• A top 10 that updates every 24 hours, so new channels have a shot at the front page

Moderation and appeals

We know this is the big one after everything people have been through with YouTube.

• AI helps us spot problems, but a person makes the decision. No strike or account action happens without a human reviewing it.
• If you get a strike, you can appeal it from the link in the email. Appeals are reviewed by a real person, and if we got it wrong, the strike is overturned and your video goes back up.
• Strikes expire after 90 days. An account isn’t removed over a single mistake.
• We’re 13+ and we scan every upload for illegal content before it goes live. That part is non-negotiable.

Monetization & Ads

It’s there from day one. As your channel grows through our tiers, you unlock a share of ad revenue, and the share goes up as you climb. To be upfront: it’s brand new and our audience is small, so payouts will start small and grow with the platform. Tier requirements are on the Creator Hub.
