My Business / My Brand genuine question for all business owners na gumagamit ng POS: ano ang kulang sa POS ninyo ngayon?

Hi everyone! We're a small POS startup here in the Philippines, para sa cafes, restaurants at food shops.

So genuine question: ano ang kulang sa POS nyo ngayon? Yung feature na matagal nyo nang hinahanap, or yung bagay na super frustrating sa gamit nyo ngayon? Kung wala pa sa amin, we'll build it.

Here's what Ember POS already has:

- Own delivery system. Sa maraming provinces wala pang Grab, foodpanda or Lalamove, so pwede kayong mag-deliver using your own riders. Link lang sa phone nila, and may live map yung customer para makita kung nasaan na yung order.

- GCash reconciliation. I-upload lang yung GCash or Maya statement, auto-match na sa sales. Makikita agad kung may kulang or sobra.

- PayMongo integration. Pwedeng magbayad online yung customer via GCash, Maya or QR Ph.

- Advanced costing. Recipe per size and add-on, food cost %, profit per item, plus suggested price.

- Activity log. Kita lahat ng voids, refunds at price changes, pati kung sino at what time.

- Floor plan ng tables nyo, with table QR ordering.

- Customer screen. Gawing customer screen yung spare tablet nyo, one QR scan lang to pair. Kita ng customer yung order at total, and kapag walang order, nagpe-play yung sarili nyong ads (pictures or videos).

- Android app, and works din sa iPhone at computer via browser. Tuloy-tuloy pa rin kahit walang internet.

- New sign up: one minute lang. First month is free, no card needed.

And kung lilipat kayo from another POS or from Excel, kami na ang mag-i-import ng lahat for you, for free: menu, prices, recipes, ingredients, stock at customers. Send nyo lang yung file, kami na bahala.

Gusto nyo munang i-try? May demo kami na pwede nyong subukan agad, no need to create an account: emberpos.net/demo

My Business / My Brand [Market Research] Income Sharing Aquaculture Business

Hi, [r/](r/BusinessPH)[Small](r/BusinessPH)[BusinessPH](r/BusinessPH)

I’m exploring the possibility of opening our 1-hectare brackish-water aquafarm in Mindanao to private investors.

Our pond has natural tidal water exchange during high tide, making it a potential site for shrimp, bangus, or mud crab farming.

Our main challenge is capital for stocking, feeds, equipment, and operations.

Would anyone be interested in investing in an aquaculture business?

Good for raising:
Milkfish
Black Tiger Prawn
Grouper (Lapu-lapu)
Mud Crab

I’m open to discussing profit-sharing or joint venture arrangements.

I’d also appreciate advice from experienced aquaculture operators and investors.

Just testing market interest for now. Thank you!

Business Idea / Plan Nutritional Analysis/Recipe Standardization Services

Hello, I am planning to offer nutritional analysis and/or recipe standardization services to food businesses. I have background in food sciences and food entrepreneurship, so i can therefore say that I am qualified in delivering this service.

For pricing im thinking of around ₱500-₱800 per product for 1 service or ₱1000-₱1500 per product for both services.

This is just my starting point and I am looking to expand my services to where I can offer HACCP plans, QA/QC verifications, Food safety, Product development consultations, etc.

I would like to know if there could be a market for these services.

If you are in need of this services, or interested in knowing more about how it can help your food business, feel free to message me.

Price:
₱500-₱800 per product (cheaper if more products) for one of the services

My Business / My Brand What helped you choose a business partner who could actually bring in clients?

Our small team has working software and early users, but most of our experience is in development. We're considering a business cofounder to handle sales, client relationships, pricing and marketing.

For those who've formed a partnership like this, what did you check before committing? Past results, references, a small agreed project, or something else?

I'm especially interested in lessons from Philippine businesses. What would you do differently?

Hello,

I'm thinking of starting a small business which is selling Tote Bags. I don't have my own brands but just wanted to sell tote bags that I saw from a supplier, which is cheap and may attract common people from buying bags that is affordable. The thing is I don't know where to start, should I focus on marketing it on social media or should I look for some bazaars that I can market some of it. I don't really know. Any advice from you guys? and hope you comments may help other people from reading this. Thanks

Question / Advice Needed What’s your thoughts on BIR Registration Seal Badge as a Small Business Owner in the PH?

Para sa mga small business owners, freelancers, o online sellers dyan

Ano sa tingin niyo yung epekto or kabuluhan nitong BIR Registration Seal Badge?

Hindi ba mas malala since case-to-case basis yata but yung iba is kita yung full name pag iniscan yung QR code and possible na magamit ng scammers?

Pros and cons?
