Personally, I think nine members isn't nearly enough, we need to upgrade.

If I was in charge, I'd add:

>A second singer to do backing vocals for Corey

>A second (and maybe third) drummer, because slipknot doesn't have nearly enough drums

>A contrabass player, because we already have a bass and the band would sound unbalanced if we didn't also have its nemesis

>Four dancers, two modern and two classical ballet dancers, to hype up the show but also bring a little class

>A tuba player, he can go "womp womp womp" whenever someone does something embarrassing on stage. Clown hits his head doing stunts? 📯Womp womp womp📯. Corey forgets lyrics? 📯Womp womp womp 📯 the band drops another song as stinky as Arsenal? 📯Womp whomp whmp 📯

>Four construction workers with industrial drills, so nobody can ever say that slipknot doesn't sound heavy enough

>A construction manager because someone has to make sure the drill guys are on tempo

> Three to five jugglers, because we already have a clown so it just feels wrong to leave out the other circus members

>A lion tamer, to complete the cast of the circus. And Slipknot's masks already look like BDSM equipment most of the time, so is a whip really out of place?

>A live, adult crocodile, preferably a saltwater croc, because we have a lion tamer, so everyone is going to expect a lion to come out at some point, and it will be hilarious when it's actually a crocodile instead. We can call him SlipKrok and he can eat the members that get fired

>A crocodile tamer in case the lion tamer isn't qualified to get SlipKrok under control

>A random mystery guest that's different every show, they don't do anything, they just stand there and at the end of the concert they take off their mask and the public goes wild because "HOLY SHIT! IT'S THAT GUY! THE FAMOUS GUY!". We could even bring Marlon Brando's corpse so he can take the mask off after they play Eyeless

Welcome to my little rant of how my first Slipknot concert made me like the band much less.

I fell in love with Slipknot around 2008. I was obsessed with them as a teen and always dreamt of going to their shows. As a Bulgarian though ... it never came. The very first time they played here was 2022. I was so hyped. I go there and ... damn was I annoyed. In the very few times Corey spoke to the public he always talked like they had played here before. Ok I mean fine. Before the zero bullshit when he asked who had seen them before it was like 5 people. And man you'd think he would put 2 and 2 together, but no, he goes on a rant of like what the fuck have we been doing when they have been touring Europe for 20 years, being all sassy. Yeah bud... and you had been on the Balkans like twice 10+ years before that when the average salary in Bulgaria would probably not cover the ticket.

The setlist was cut 2 songs short, the energy level was very low. And I was left wondering is my expectation for bands to care more unfounded?

I have seen so many bands and pop acts even... literally all of them had something special like Rammstein, Lordi etc. learning a couple of words in Bulgarian; Disturbed, Sabaton etc. talking about previous shows or how it is their first show; hell Brian May played one of our most iconic national songs during his guitar solo; Lady Gaga pranced around in our flag. Corey seemed like he just wanted to get it over with asap.

So far i cut out the stuff I need too, I got the mask from spirit Halloween and I need to add paint, texture and the dreads. I also bought the jump suit which is arriving soon. Keep yall updated! 💕💕💕

Ok so I thrifted this for 10 bucks at a locale thrift and I wanna trun it into a 1999 era slipknot jumpsuit so im making stencils (ik i can just buy iron on patches but ik how to stencils also im broke 💔) but what I cant figure out the sizes for the markings (the s number and barcodes) idk fs what member i wanna do but I think imma do sid ik hes not in the band anymore but idc I love him anyways any advice for the sizes I did Google it but if anyone has like closest or exact size that would be helpful ik its excessive but i wanna be acerit lol

So i made this joey mask not too long ago and i’ve had a few people tell me i should start making them for Ebay or something. My question is, do you think people would get them considering how many people collect? and how much would i even ask for something like this? no they’re not an actual 83 cesar mask but they are completely hand painted by me. Thanks!

Trying to infuse a little positivity in this sub. I was die hard in high school from 99-02, then eventually they fell totally off my radar as I lived my life. I'll admit that young me was really disappointed that vol 3 got "soft".

I pretty much didn't pay attention to all the lineup stuff after Joey and Paul. I was casually aware of some of the "newer" hits. Then starting around when all the Jay news was flooding my feeds, I got curious again. Even more with the Sid news. Not saying any opinions on those things here, but I'm saying it put Slipknot back in my mind.

Since then I have become completely immersed in everything from all the years. What a fucking great catalog. Do I skip some songs? Yes, just like I do for nearly every artist I listen to. Am I happy that they are always evolving? YES! If they were to try to come out with a "self titled" every 3 or 4 years it would get really old really fast.

Can't wait for whatever new material they want to come out with!

Hey guys so I attended the album launch for vol 3 back in 2004 at hmv/virgin megastore (can't remember exactly which one) on Oxford st in London.

As such I have a signed copy of the album with all 9 members including joey, Paul etc.

Is this worth anything and if so where is the best place I can sell it? Money is tight and if I can sell anything extra then I will.

I generally agree with everyone's opinion about Shawn's O' Day Monster project, and I am usually also against the use of AI to create "art" BUT I have to give credit where credit is due and this morning I watched the video of "Un Life" and the words literally pierced me because they reflect myself perfectly at this exact moment of my life.
