When I around that age I was TERRIFIED of bloody marry. So much so I would not look at a mirror in the dark till I was an adult. 25 years later I still don’t really feel great about mirrors in dark rooms and always catch my self avoiding eye contact with them in dark rooms. If my parents did this to me as a kid I would have probably had a heart attack.
It’s not a phobia? It doesn’t affect my life or cripple me to the point where I can’t be in a room with a mirror. Just out of habit I avoid looking at dark mirrors. When I realize I’m doing it I just look at the mirror. You need to chill out make maybe log off the internet for a bit. Not everything is an extreme and not everyone is over reacting.
it's kind of a phobia, be honest, i praise your attitude of facing your fears and wilfully looking into the mirrors, in the early hours i think reptilian aliens are going to snatch me out of my bed so I understand things creeping you out but I understand if have an irrational phobia too
I do my best, thank you, the mirrors are a great analogy of staring into the abyss and facing your fears which I think is brave and ultimately healthy, forcing it on children as young as these is bad but a child choosing to watch horror films is good, the kid who started fighting is a mini ubermensch and is better prepared for life
