was js wondering since sem 1 week 1 wasnt counted ...

Hello, is there anyone in Drawing elective willing to swap classes. Swap Friday afternoon class with Isaac Yap for his morning class. Anyone interested in swapping?

when I log in and click on main menu I cannot select or see the options

Im like y1 and i compare w my other friends from other poly sch of biz n their graded modules r so little compared to ours.. wym our cc mods and electives r graded and theirs is only a pass/fail??? and they have 4 days of sch while i have 5 days os sch and the days r not exactly short as well……

And why the hell do we have graded class quizzes every week while the other poly students can js slack then mug for the exams at the end and still score a good grade….. Wtf…

bro do u guys not feel its kinda unfair cos im here suffering my ass off whole getting a lower gpa than them bc the workload is so much more than them,,, and they get a higher gpa coz they have so little graded modules and lesser days of sch???

ultimately uni’s js look at gpas not wtv poly u come from what…. so wth???

last sem i have like 8 graded mods and my frnds frm other poly sch of biz its only 4 graded mods….. Hello……????? and their content is somuch more lesser…..

for context sp econs we learn micro in term 1 and macro in term 2 but my frnd’s poly (shall not name) learn my term 1 content (micro) in the span of the whole sem… then they dont even have to do macro econs at all??? wth………..

does anybody know whther if i change poly do i have to redo y1…. its genuinely so stressful bro and every of my 8 mods last sem had group projects bro….. my teammates genuinely dont do shit…..

Edit:: idk its js so unfair how other poly students are easily cruising by their poly life n getting 4.0 gpa while im out there BURSTING MY ASS and getting a lower gpa ….. u feel me….

pls dont come at me with a “life is alw unfair” im gna slime u out 😭😭😭🙏💔

hi just wanted to ask how the school gym is and what type of equipment they have. also i heard need to bring towel so I just wanted to ask what size roughly the towels need to be. also to we need to wear flat shoes? And are shorts considered sports attire? thanks!

Hello! Any seniors in life arts cca? May i know how many days per week do we have to go for cca? I tried asking them in insta but I haven't gotten a reply and I wanted to apply for cca ASAP.

And what activities do yall usually do?

Just tell me why we don’t need to do this when we are outside school but we are forced to do this when we are in SP?

idk about other poly but it just doesn’t make sense.. atp we don’t even need cleaners, just set up washing stations and let us wash our own plates..

Indeed is Sooooo Possible in SP

Edit: atleast there are people who understand where im coming from.. smelly rubbish bin to inconveniences.

For those who love to compare with NS, I hope when this really implement in coffee shops, yall btr dont kpkb say pap is bs etc.. and just stay in camp until u bye bye to the world la, only know how to compare with camp...

Those who said im lazy, sure but cleaners are paid for a reason.. am i the only lazy person? Probably not..

Tired of being a sub 5?
Tired of watching hypergamy win every time?

I would like to ask: If I am enrolled in a part-time diploma course at a polytechnic and rank among the top students in my class, am I eligible to receive a "Diploma with Merit"? I am currently pursuing a part-time diploma in Computer Engineering at tp.

I originally came from DCITP and was wondering how intense the modules

Like is it Exam//Practical Based or Purely Project based (NO MST or EST)

Idk I just feel worried how hard will these modules be

especially BED

😭 Im a year 1 student who is very nervous about poly. If yall have DAC notes and dont mind sharing them, please send it to me pls. Very much appreciated

Also is there another place to check the timetable? The one on sp mobile is not the easiest to read

-difficulty level for someone who is a beginner/isnt in EEE
-components tested
-is the workload around the same as a normal 4cu mod?
-final rating of this elective out of 5

the attendance isn’t counted right? technically can skip?

dm me

hi! i'm a poly student (not from an art/design course) applying to lasalle for the BA. torn between Fashion Media and Industries and Fashion Design and Textiles.

for context, i run a small fashion brand on the side. i design the pieces, did the early sewing myself, handle the branding, packaging, photos and content, and recently did my first manufactured drop. so i have real work, but it's more "brand building" than traditional art.

few qns:

1. for FMI, what kind of works did you include? is brand/content/campaign work ok or do they want more traditional art?
2. is it worth applying to both courses?
3. how was the interview like?

any current students or people who got in, would really appreciate your insights 🙏

I applied on the first day morning as soon as the elective application opened and they somehow gave me the elective that is not in my 8 choices. I also submitted appealed and they said all 8 choices were oversubscribed and they are not first come first served basis. This is completely unfair for me cuz I have no interest in this assigned elective. Is there any way that I can file a complaint abt this or smth?

Just wondering if they might release the appeal results before 5 Oct, which is the date stated on the school website.

Wondering if 3.8 average for 2 sems within one AY is enough

hihii i have a few friends selected for SPOT programme
and they were wondering like what are the actual advantages of SPOT
does it help w cca points, gpa, portfolio
ive heard its also very time consuming, plus we have gpa, electives, cca and other commitments to balance

is SPOT really worth it? what is the main highlight or advantage of joining SPOT? what would be the main challenge when joining SPOT?

what is SPOT actually about ? (qns by me cus i not in SPOT)

its not in the sp elective reviews website so im guessing its relatively new

did anyone do it before? how was your experience?

Hi, does anyone know when next sem’s timetable is going to be released?
The website says “from 2 Oct onwards” does that mean it can be released anytime between 2–18 Oct, or is there a specific release date?
