Tales From The Loop Tales From The Loop ♡

Let's Bring Back Tales from the Loop for Season 2!

I don't usually make posts like this, but I really want to try and get Amazon's attention.

Tales from the Loop is such a unique, beautiful series, and I genuinely believe it deserves another chance. I know it was cancelled due to insufficient viewership, but what if there's still an audience out there waiting to be heard? You dont always find new shows right away.. you discover shows that have 5 or 6 seasons.. you just didn't know it existed. But people know this exists now, and lots of us really want to see it. The show is such a rare thing, there aren't really many like it at all..

There are multiple Change.org petitions with thousands of signatures combined, and within my own server for autistic people, many members have expressed that they want a second season. The show's creator has also expressed interest in continuing it!

For me, this series is more than entertainment. As an autistic person, I find it incredibly comforting. Its atmosphere, music, and gentle pacing help me calm down when I'm experiencing sensory overload or having a difficult day. I know others find comfort in their favourite shows, too, and I'd love for more people to experience what makes this one so special.

I've even contacted Amazon customer service to ask them to reconsider, although I don't know whether my message will reach anyone who can make a difference.

So, can we come together and make our voices heard?

💙 Sign the existing petitions.

💙 Share this post and spread the word.

💙 Contact Amazon and let them know you'd watch a second season.

I'm not expecting one Reddit post to change everything, but if enough of us speak up, perhaps we can show Amazon that this series still matters.

Amazon, please give Tales from the Loop another chance. Some stories deserve to continue.

Discussion Early Electric State Concept Art

A while back I came across a now deleted reddit post that had some very early sketches Stalenhag had made for The Electric State while the book was still being conceptualized. Again, the post is deleted now so I can't go back and check it but I did save one of the images,I believe there was another image (an early concept for one of the mascots wearing sunglasses, seen in "by_on_ramp"). I figured I'd share this one since 90% of people haven't seen it and the 10% that have could potentially send more my way. I tried searching online for any other sources but googling anything about "electric state concept art" will just get you movie stuff. Cool movie stuff, frankly, but still just movie stuff. If anyone's got more early work on the actual book I'd love to see it.

Has anybody else found/seen this?

I found this version of the site on the Internet Archive, and I'm surprised to see it's still up. I mean, given it's on the Archive, someone must've seen it. But, I thought it was interesting, and now I'm here wondering if any of you guys had seen it?

Electric State What exactly is the ending about? Spoiler

OK. I just finished reading the electric state. The last few images where, how the robot skip laid next to the neurocaster in the sea if I'm not mistaken. So does that mean, she removed skips neurocaster? And do we know what had happened afterwards? Or is this an open-end thing?

Anyways I loved the book 10/10. Would heavily recommend, loved the artwork.

Other A Soviet walking excavator. As far as I know, it was built in USSR in 1979. There were only six of them.

Other Some of the concept art from GR Breakpoint reminds me of Stalenhag's work, thought you'd enjoy.

Discussion Electric State (the book) Ending Spoiler

It's odd that so far I haven't seen anyone talking about the fact that the third last illustration in the book featured that weird neon red band.

Wasn't it hinting that there was a giant server tower out in the sea? We know for a fact that those server towers are everywhere (and they seem to be even more frequently encountered in Point Linden) and absolutely massive. We don't know how big they really are because they only appeared as BDOs in the backgrounds. But i think one thing can be made sure - if this red line really represented the bottom lit-up portion of a server tower, then the tower would probably be much bigger than anything we had seen in the book, given that the band's almost got no curvature. To me it seems like the perfect homebase for the Convergence cultists

Other How much writing in a Stalenhag book?

Hi all, I have a neurological condition that makes it very hard for me to read but I love the look of Simon stalenhag’s art. I only just realised his books include writing. Are there any that are only the art? If not which book has the least writing?
Thank you in advance :)
