Troubleshooting Razer Goliathus Mousepad recognized but unresponsive without Razer Synapses installed.

I uninstalled Razer Synapses a long time ago, and haven't used my Goliathus's RGB for months until I got SignalRGB today to control my new computer case.

I also flashed my Keychron v6 and got it working, so I thought why not try to get the mousepad working too.

Well, without Razer Synapses, the mousepad is unresponsive, just doing its default slow color cycle.

I reinstalled Razer Synapses and now it works, but it conflicts with Chroma's settings. I am on Windows 10 so I do not see anything in regards to Dynamic Lighting that Windows 11 users have.

I do not want to have to have Razer Synapses on my computer just to use the Goliathus's RGB with SignalRGB. I need help figuring out how to use SignalRGB with the Goliathus without having Razer Synapses on my system, let alone have to be running.

The Goliathus is definitely supported. I'd recommend a full power cycle, that helps with many issues as a base troubleshooting step to restart all the underlying services. If that doesn't do the trick, try the steps found in this guide. Sometimes changing the USB port in use can fix things.

Razer pads have two states, one where they run their own lighting (that slow cycle you're seeing), and one where they accept commands from software. There's a command that flips the pad into the second mode, and our Goliathus support doesn't send it, we just start pushing colors assuming it's already listening. Synapse sends that switch itself, which is why reinstalling fixed it, but now both apps fight over the lighting.

Try to keep Synapse installed. In Synapse, set the Goliathus's lighting profile to static black/off or "None," then save. Close or minimize Synapse, and restart SignalRGB.

Also, does it keep working after you fully close Synapse, or only while it's running in the background?
