I am an SSO who recently gained the necessary certifications to carry a firearm for my job.

I am looking for a good level 3 holster that will fit my P229EE.

I figured I'd consult the Reddit experts as I do my own research online. What I've gathered so far is I should be good picking up any P229R (Railed) level 3 holster but I want to confirm that before I spend money on one.

Unnecessary details:

I understand there are potentially better duty carry options but I am not a man who's made of money. I am also particular about any firearm I purchase because I've learned even with a reliable platform you can have bad luck and receive a lemon. I've had bad luck before.

To put it simply, my P229EE is the firearm I am most proficient with and that I trust to never fail me.

Anytime I see headlines in the news I can't help but think of my own students. I would rather not wait on saving money, finding the right firearm, and then selecting a holster. I'd prefer to start carrying my P229EE ASAP and then take my time selecting something else down the road.

All recommendations, advice, and conversation is appreciated. Thank you.

Just picked this up today, been eyeing them since late this spring and got a great deal from the local gun shop. The Romeo5X-AMR x Juliet3-Micro AMR combo really sold it for me! I'm excited to take her out this weekend to get everything zero'd in. The auto Romeo reticle swap makes me laugh every time I flip the Juliet in and out.

Clasp to P365 case broke. I emailed customer support asking if I could get a replacement clasp as I didn't want to buy a whole new case because a little plastic nub broke. I received a response about 4am the next business day and had this brand new case for free 3 days later. It's only 30$ at the end of the day but they deserve their flowers It's nice to actually feel valued as a customer.

My new to me (made in July 2026) Flux Raider.

I just added a Vortex Triumph red dot, these have always worked well on my other firearms.

Hey yall so Ive got a p365 and I noticed today after pulling out some mags I haven’t used in a while that there was some surface rust on them. I used some CPL and wiped them with a microfiber but I was wondering if I should use something else to get the rust off because after letting the mags sit for a second it appears as though the rust is kinda still there any tips would be greatly appreciated thank you!

I contacted Sig, and got this reply:

'This might be a new dealer exclusive variant if it is only available through Cabelas/Bass Pro. You will generally only see skus on our website that are available across the consumer market to the general public. We will not generally advertise specific dealer exclusives on our website. But, yes, this does appear to be a legitimate sku."

Anyone purchased one? Is this a legitimate Fuse with the AXG grip module?

Range time and ammo aside, what are the top 3 or so things you purchased for your p365x?

I know I will get an optic and a holster probably first. But then I ran across a grip module. Seems like a good one.

Does anyone have the Wilson Combat WCP365 XL for their p365x?

I’ve been wanting to get PCC as alternate of my AR and Handguns. My current handguns are all Sigs (Legion 226/365 and 1911 Nightmare).

The reason draws me to MPX is the AR platform other than that it feels lighter compared to Springfield Kuna. With KUNA I can add a suppressor for less the price of MPX.

I know this is SIG subs and I do love Sigs, but would love to hear others thoughts and I do appreciate your feedback! Thank you all!

Slapped the new ported slide and ECM grip together, now just waiting on the Osight SE and some ammo to come in so we can see how flat this thing runs.

I am about to make my first p365 build, and was planning to use the X-macro grip module with a Radian backstrap/magwell combo.

I live in Illinois so I have a 15rd capacity limit, and there is even legal grey area in getting capacity reduced 17rd mags. It seems that PMAG's 15rd mags do not fit very well at all (see second image).

On another post I saw someone recommend Tactical Development’s XM-15 basepad that can be attached to a P365/X/XL 15RD mag; however, it says directly on their site that "Tapered to fit in a magwell. (Does not fit Radian Arms Magwell)". Can anyone confirm whether this is true or untrue?

If anyone has any solutions that work well and are relatively flush, please let me know!

My LGS just got the P211 GT5 in stock (black) and I'm ready to purchase.(California model) My question is, i am now questioning my self and wondering if I should wait for the GT5 carry. From the reviews I saw, not much recoil has changed between the steel and aluminum grip. What are your pros and cons to each? Obviously not carrying neither Bertha but would like your guys input on the 2 models. Thanks.

Lots of good opinions and information were shared, ended up getting a P365 AXG legion from a local shop with a romeo red dot used for $775, plan for this to be EDC and looking forward to getting a few rounds in! Purchased this back in 2016 and it’s been a safe queen ever since. Kids have been getting more into shooting and going to the range together so I pulled it out recently.

It seems like all the newer models have some type of optics on them. My particular model doesn’t even have a rail to mount. Any suggestions for a good optic on this model.

Took it to the range this week and sure does shoot nice and Fire straight.

I've had this gun for a while and took it apart to clean but now I'm not getting any cycling (attached video is slow motion of firing with no bolt movement). This is my only piston gun so I'm not super knowledgeable on it. Tried moving the gas setting with no change. Any ideas?
