I came across this pair and haven’t stopped thinking about it: black peep-toe slingback wedges with a natural woven jute platform and a little buckle at the ankle. I can’t find any branding on them, so I’m hoping someone here recognizes the style or knows the designer.
What I like is how they sit between dressy and relaxed. The glossy black strap looks polished, while the woven wedge gives them a summery, easygoing feel. The pairing in the photo, soft white linen pants, shows how well they work with something simple. I’d also try them with a midi skirt or cropped jeans.
I have a few questions for the shoe people here. Do you know who makes them or similar styles worth looking at? Are woven wedges like this comfortable for a full day or better for shorter outings? And how do you style a platform wedge so it looks elegant and not bulky?
Brand names are all I need. I know links to shops aren’t allowed here.
