To those Transvestigating Shen

This has probably been done to death, but I feel like this video has a pretty good message in relation to what I've been seeing in some of this sub.

That being;

I don't think it's our place to care about whether or not Shen is cis, a repressing trans person, or some secret third option.

I'm sure those telling him to stop "repping" aren't doing it out of genuine malice. They probably just don't want someone to go through what they must have on their way to finding their true selves.

Yet my point still stands.

Whatever he is, it's HIS BUSINESS. Leave mothafuckas alone.

It's when you decree that a celebrity has secretly already transitioned because their clavicles or whatever, like the conspiracy theorists who swear that Michelle Obama isn't cis. It's not about whether someone wants to transition and is repressing

not just celebrities. harassment can happen over people deciding any cis woman has too strong a jawline or whatever, as an example.

it's part of a conspiracy theory that the liberal elite are all trans people on top of being satanic baby eaters. transvestigators will analyze the angle of their target's brow, size and shape of their jaw and cheekbones, shoulders, overall proportions with these phrenological charts of "normal" male and female bodies in order to prove they're actually stealth trans people. it's a very specific word that refers to a very specific subculture within the terfosphere.
