DON’T BLAME STEVE!

Hey all,
Local deadbeat mod speaking, I basically got this place from the last guy in /r/redditrequests cause he'd accidentally turned off posting and I figured it was abandoned. I'm not too active since it's a slow sub anyway and rarely gets spam, which is fine, but it also means maybe the community is less active than it could be? And a more active community = more streams for our favorite guy Geti.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anybody is interested in stepping up and giving this place a bit more juice? Anyone with a bit of experience growing a small sub would be ideal, though I won't take any power-mods. I thought we could do it a bit like /r/emacs where I'd remain head mod/benevolent dictator-for-life in case any future rogue mods try to totally sink the ship, but generally stay out of the picture otherwise.
Lmk what you guys think, leave applications/proposals below and upvote the good ones, publicly denounce the pretenders, all that good stuff. If I've got my head too far up my own ass with the benevolent dictator thing lmk and I can just turn the whole thing over to the community's pick.
Keep your juices in the brats, Clayh5

Amazingly in-depth review of KennyV that sets out the narrative of the album better than anywhere else I've seen.

I was thinking this after this year’s first two releases. Today’s release of Shark Attack is even more very quality stuff. Anyone else been stoked about the 2026 releases as a whole?

Shark Attack is out on streaming services with new version of "Owenarmn" featuring J.a.Grimms.

Pretty excited to see a Serengeti album being released on backwoodz and really would love to see more collaborations with the Geti and the backwoodz roster.

He was selling a test press vinyl of Ajai 2 remixes on his insta. I know somebody here copped it.

Is this his legit bandcamp?

There’s a bunch of random merch and stuff on it.

Just listened to it and it's the first KD universe album that I'm having trouble following.
The album is meant to be Jueles' own album that she put out? I get that Kenny is trying to make himself relevant again, is this meant to take place after KDIII? Or maybe I've missed listening to an album that provides more context for the situation? I can't tell if people not picking up the phone for Kenny is a plot device to show his decline in relevance, or if there was some larger fallout between the characters at some point.
Odouls is clear that Jueles isn't satisfied in the relationship, Tommy Pi and Response make it seem like she wants to? Or maybe is? Seeing another guy, but I can't quite tell. My earbuds aren't great, and I'm having trouble making out what all is being said lol.
Also curious how Stacy's songs fit into the story.
Really wish that I could find the lyrics for this album somewhere to read through, but they don't seem to be posted anywhere.

Hey guys. I remember some years ago seeing that Geti was on the Hannibal Buress “handsome rambler” podcast. But even back then i couldn’t find the episode it was taken down or something, and that was before all the episodes of the podcast got pulled.
I was just curious if anyone happens to have a way to watch/listen to that one by any chance i have never seen him on a pod like that or anything.

Reddit polls only include 6 options but which of the “core” Kenny albums are your fave? I deliberately excluded Dennehy partly because I thought it would probably win but also because it’s only half a Kenny album. A more difficult choice was to exclude Ajai in favour of the EP.
Of the ones not listed, what are your favourites? Ajai, Dark Web, Conversations with Kenny, There’s a Situation on the Homefront, KDxMPC?

I decided to cook the meal from “Don’t Wear that Suit Ajai”. This was the result! It turned out really well!

Did I miss an announcement about any Kenny V physical copies? I bought the digital on Bandcamp and have been loving it, but I was curious about a physical release. Did anybody else hear anything about it?
