I’ve spent a lot of time searching for free items and local deals on Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, Craigslist, and OfferUp. One thing I learned quickly is that the best listings, especially free items, are often claimed shortly after they are posted.

My friend and I built an Android app called Curbwise to make that process easier. You can create keyword alerts for items you want, and the app notifies you when matching listings appear. For paid items, it also provides an AI-assisted price analysis to help judge whether the asking price is reasonable.

It currently covers Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, Craigslist, and OfferUp. It is still a new app, so coverage and alert timing can vary by marketplace and location.
