My girlfriend and I started one that was partially assembled. We finished it, rode back a few hours later, and it was back to being partially assembled again 🤣

I got sucked into one on the Bainbridge run last spring and missed my exit to the car deck, had to ride it back over.

Missed your exit to the car deck? What does that mean? You have to completely leave the ferry at each destination, right?

Yes, several times, but not from the start.

It takes me about 3 hours to complete a 1000 piece so depending on how much is already done I might be the one to finish it.

If you have more people or do it over more than one trip you could certainly do one from the start.

My husband and I managed to complete a 1000 piece one from scratch on a trip from Orcas Island to Anacortes once. Parked the car, booked it up to the deck, found the puzzle table and got going. I was very proud of us.

Are you sure it was 1000 pieces? Thats like world record pace for 2 people

It was 250 pieces each in the 4 square pattern. We each did half.

I've really wanted to order a few 100-200 piece puzzles based off of my ferry photography and leave them on the boats as a weird guerilla means of self-promotion, but I never remember to do it when I'm at home....

Not a bad idea

No, but only because I find that every puzzle is missing at least 5 pieces.
