🫡🫡 legend. Something special about growing up on Teriyaki here, and now seeing my kids love and ask for teriyaki.

Hadn't really thought about it but yeah my kids love teriyaki. Proud to pass on that Seattle heritage. Still working on the no umbrella thing though. They get that from their California mom

Fine I guess I'll have Teriyaki for dinner to celebrate. Really twisting my arm here.

Tried them last week for the first time! Tasted like history.

I remember getting their fried rice in highschool and eating like 4-5meals from one. They always gave me a ton, especially towards the end of the day. Thank you to this and fast food dollar menu for helping me survive the penny-scrapping days🙏🙏🙏

I buy that bottled sauce a few times a year.

I miss the OG style of a half chicken, rice, and slightly pickled carrots and cabbage. I grew up on Toshi’s as a kid - it was usually that or Pap Aldo’s/Murphy’s on a Friday.

Oh Papa Aldos, that's still what I call it in my head.

God damn I miss teriyaki. I moved to the east coast for work a couple years ago… and let me tell you. Habachi is not a substitute for teriyaki.
