Hey there. I have been playing scrap mechanic for years and am enjoying the new update however I seem to not be able to actually get any cosmetics when playing survival. They are simply not there when I click open on the garment box and then go to the designer, it’s as if I have never opened it. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks

scrap mechanic is always creating logs while you play, and if you never clear them... well i once had a 42gb logs folder full of just text files. so it might be a good idea to check it, maybe it is eating away on your storage.

Basically when a large chest grabs glow that dropped on top of a crop it will also destroy the crop. I've noticed this happening only with glow but maybe other naturally generated loot might trigger this issue, like circuits or component kits dropped by bots, as long as they drop on top of a crop while a large chest is active and close enough to be able to grab that item.

I tried to manually drop items on the crops and let a large chest grab them and that didn't destroy the crops, so I'm assuming that it only happens when the items are dropped by other entities like glowbugs or bots.

Just to clarify I'm not talking about a vacuum pump attached to a large chest but simply a large chest by itself when turned on with a switch, also the crops that I've watched being destroyed were still growing.

This is my 23-floor, 101m (404 block) tall office skyscraper I made for my Mini City series. No mods were used in its construction. It took me around 40 hours of work over the span of around half a year to construct this. Every floor has a unique interior and was built from scratch. The building serves as the corporate headquarters for the Mini City Petrochemical Corporation, a very powerful oil company and the source of a lot of corruption in the City. This was completed in April of 2024.

I started digging underneath it, then dug out the sides and removed the top section. However, when I removed the last connection at the back, the giant chunk of dirt (in the image) didn’t collapse and remained suspended in mid-air. :(

i swear i remembered what dr pixel plays said about adam. he said that you have to join by doing a friend invite on him and he could auto accept ir. i tried to do a friend invite on adam, but he won't accept it. i wanted to try to go into the server and test his world. if adam can't accept the invite, does that mean scrap mechanic servers does not work anymore as of 1.0 (maybe a fix for the server)? if anyone is a member of adam, please tell me

no, moving it doesnt help, rejoining the world doesnt work, restarting the game doesnt work, and placing everything down and picking it up again doesnt work.

i dont even think making a new dressbot would fix this bug.

i think there is no more common things to unlock, because other type of garment boxes work, i think. i cant verify this because i havent got other types of garment boxes.

if it is that causing the problem then theres a simple solution: dont give players more garment boxes than common unlockables.

Let me explain that take.

So I'll keep this short since I could write an essay on this but like the trashbot has no actual build up for what is your first boss fight so most players feel blind sided and with such a vastly different mechanic than the rest of the game of it being a bullet hell there shouldve been say invisible tutorials to teach you the mechanics of the fight before hand.

Like you could have some of the trash bots attacks appear earlier disguised as environmental hazards in say the grow labs so the player can later recognize those attack and already know how to deal with them instead of forcing them to learn them on the spot when first encountering it which some games that is kinda the charm but scrap mechanic isnt one of those games

This is the outcome I expected but I'm still a little disappointed.

I designed this chassis with adjustable ground clearance using pistons in creative mode with a bunch of different piston engines and they all worked fine. I even added a 1:2 tremel gear for even more speed, but as soon as i built in survival with the scrap garage and added my standard inline 4 engine with timing wheel. the top speed became lower than walking speed no matter how much i adjusted the timing. Even with the tremel gear removed it just still would barely accelerate and was still way too slow. I also originaly tested my chassis in creative with a standard inline 4 from the workshop and it went a decent speed and i also tested my inline 4 form survival on a test chassis which did go a decent speed with the engine. The only difference i could think of between the test chassis and the new design is that i used a different type of through bearing on the new design to save on costs and less lag and that the test chassis had a gear based differential which kept completely slipping uphill so i replaced it for this system which i found a tutorial for on youtube.

Another problem i'm experiencing is that the right rear wheel keeps lifting up and compressing the suspension when i'm moving forwards and the left rear keeps lifting up when reversing. This also causes a lot of instability when the vehicle is extended off the ground by the adjustable ground clearance.

If anyone could help fix any of these issues i would be very grateful.

Help! I'm having some issues with bot raid landing points. My farm has two floors. The first floor is for planting, and the second floor is where I plan to defend against raids. I placed 4-block-high stone pillars on the roof of the second floor, with a 2-block gap between each pillar, to prevent bots from landing on the roof. This was successful—no bots landed on top. However, I noticed that bots would suddenly spawn on the second floor. I didn't see any containers; they just appeared right next to me. I also placed stone pillars where they spawned, but I'm not sure if they'll still spawn in other places. Does anyone have a solution? The premise is no mods and no cheating. Also, I'd like to ask if there are any defense mechanisms against raids. I'm currently using rotating potato gun turrets and rotating metal blocks for defense. If you have any good suggestions or methods, I look forward to your reply! Thanks!
