Rant! Annoyed

Why is there so many people complaining on this subreddit if you don’t like their videos anymore please stop watching them it’s not their fault that the people that guest star in the videos are annoying I still watch them because I actually enjoy their videos and they were one of the only things that got me through my awful childhood and I hate seeing them get all this hate sorry for my rant but this has been bothering me for awhile now

Discussion I think the spirits in Sam and Colbys videos are affecting me

Hello, I want to start this by saying I know it sounds crazy. Truly, I know it does because I feel insane right now, but I have been doing my own experiments at home, and when I do not watch any of their paranormal content, it doesn't happen, but as soon as I do, it happens. I have gone days without the effects, but as soon as I watch a video, bam, it's right there.

In truth, I am not sure what I am a medium? Possibly; I am not sure. I have had several mediums tell me I have an extremely powerful connection to the spirit world, but I have not pursued it, as in truth the experiences I have had in my life so far make me not want to go into it fully, as I am unsure if it interests me or scares me (I will write my own experiences at the bottom of this post)

Okay, so now what the title is actually about: sorry for the rambling, but here it is: when I watch their videos (I only recently have, after seeing their collab with Daz Games) I can often predict what is going to happen or what is said; for example, I always seem to know if a terrible thing happened in that room before they say it. And the thing that bugs me the worst is the immense headaches I get while watching investigations, but it only seems to be the demonic ones or the dark ones.

It's an awful headache that lasts hours and hours on end, and it only ever happens when I do watch their videos I am completely fine if I do not watch a video that day. It is so strange, as during my own experiences I have gotten the same headache, but I did not think entities could affect you through the screen. My experiences are these.

FIRST EXPERIENCE:
A few years back I lived in the house across from two abandoned houses and I always got a uneasy feeling around them but at that point I always simply chalked it down to being that I lived in a sketchy area. But then the dreams started happening. I would be walking up the street in my dream and stop in my tracks and look up at one of the windows in the house, and there she was a woman with long dark hair staring right back down at me. I had this dream for weeks.

I kept it to myself, thinking I was just losing my mind, until i finally mentioned it to my mum, who told me that a few years ago a woman had been found dead in a boot of a car that was parked next to that house; she had been murdered. And when I looked up the news article of murder, there she was, the exact same woman I had seen in my dream.

SECOND EXPERIENCE:
This happened about 2 years after my first experience. I was lay in bed on the phone facing the window when I started to hear the floor boards next to my bed creak loudly, my house has many creaky floorboards but I know which ones creak next to my bed and it was those ones. I turned and saw what appeared to be a shadow like creature near my wardobe it must have been around 7 foot tall. I am not sure how I know this but to me it felt like a man, not bad or evil just a man.

I turned back around to face my window and the boards kept on creaking and thats when I said out loud "Leave me alone please, I mean no offence but you cannot be here" and then it stopped. The creaking stopped immediately and when I turned around he was gone.

THIRD EXPERIANCE:
Me and a friend were staying in a air bnm in Kamas Utah about a year ago we were driving towards the pub the notch after buying some grocceries in the local shop it was around 10pm at night maybe ealier i cant exactly remeber but it was dark very dark. It was pitch black the only thing we could see was the lines on the road, which were illuminated by the headlights on our car. The next thing I know, I get terrible, awful goosebumps all up my arms. I looked out through my friends  side of the windshield next to the road, I saw what looked to be a man crouched down. He was tall his arms and limbs were completely disproportionate and all I could make out was the inhuman smile across his face. It was too wide and too long even typing this is making me so paranoid.

I saw my friend what I saw and he told me serval times it was just a log,  when we got back to the air bnb which was a cabin in the woods no lights nothing like that apart from the small porch light we got out of the car and his face went pale and he unlocked the door quickly and told me to go inside now I got scared and asked why and he yelled at me which he never does. I went inside, and he told me to hide in the cupboard under the stairs in the house, which I did. Around five minutes later, he came back in and locked the door, then placed a chair under the handle. I asked what was wrong so many times, and he wouldn't tell me, but he looked panicked very panicked which is very unlike him he is super chilled and relaxed. Eventually, after almost an hour of me begging him to tell me what he saw, he told me that he had seen a shadow crouched in the woods staring down at us, and it looked like a man.

Keep in mind the place where I saw the crouched figure was a ten-minute drive from our Airbnb, and we were driving around 45 mph for most of the drive, apart from the bend where I saw the creature, as we had to slow to around 15 mph to get around it as the roads were a little icy,  so if it was a person, it could not have made it there in time. After he told me what he saw, the power in the cabin cut out for around an hour, and the owner of the Airbnb, who lived a few minutes down the road, came and fixed it for us. About a week or so after that we were supposed to go to Zac Bagans Haunted Museum, and I had an awful feeling about it.

We were in bed in an RV in the middle of the desert on the border of Arizona and Utah; he was asleep. Still, I woke up in the middle of the night to scratching all over the RV. I thought it could have been animals, so I tried to ignore it. Still, it kept getting louder, and then it stopped all at once. I had been touching my crucifix on my neck the whole time, as I like to rub my fingers across it when I am nervous. I then heard a distinct click of a tongue, and I let go of my necklace and screamed, shaking my friend awake. He woke up and looked inside the RV and all outside with a flashlight; no animals or people. and when I was settling back down i looked down and my necklace was snapped

THE MOST RECENT EXPERIANCE:
My friend and I were walking through the park the other week, feeding the squirrels as I like to do. He was crouched down feeding one, and I started to head over to him when a small boy, probably aged around 6-8, possibly passed me he was wearing a flatcap and clothes that didn't look too correct and I had a feeling like he wanted me to help him or find him something like that I can't truly describe the feeling I felt but I suppose it felt like that. But when I turned around to look at him he was no where to be seen.

Discussion My hot take as a new fan

I never really got into Sam and Colby beforehand because I'm not that interested in paranormal stuff but I knew of them and I would watch a video of theirs here and there when they would collab with people I knew. So when they did a video with dan and phil as a dnp fan I watched it and I really liked that video so I started to watch a lot more of their stuff. As I got into more of their stuff and as I got more into the fandom I started to realize that Sam and Colby fans are exhausting. I don't know if it's because I'm on the wrong side of the fandom space but all I've been seeing since I got here is complaints. I've seen people hate their guests, hate that some videos aren't as scary, hate on women for being "scared" in scary situations, complaints about everything being faked, and I even saw people say that Sam and Colby have no passion for it. Like yeah I would have no passion to post videos if when I do there's nothing but negativity and complaining. If you think relatively and use your noggin naturally some videos are gonna be scarier than others because more paranormal things happen in them. And if there's not anything going on they're gonna use humor and anything else to make the videos interesting because at the end of the day the point is to be entertained.

I also think that people focus so much on if it's real or not. I personally am of the opinion that they aren't faking it, but houses settle things creek obviously Sam and Colby are gonna take advantage of every sound and situation and play into it but they have too much proof and too many things happen that there's no way everything is staged and exaggerated. Once again use your head things are gonna be overhyped because the point of watching is to be scared and entertained.

Obviously I'm new here but these are things that I've noticed and I think it's kind of insane how y'all act towards Sam and Colby themselves and their guests.

Hell MONTH! Disappointed in the new episode

I decided to watch the new hell week ep and I couldn't stand seven minutes. Those girls are so annoyed. The last two episodes are fine but this one? It's so annoying. I instead watched OVERNIGHT's latest video which also uploaded like 12 hours later or smth like that for me. Ik a lot of people wanted them to collab with those girls but welp. Look what happened. They're so annoying and disrespectful to the afterlife in my opinion. Wish they would choose someone else to collab live Groovy Gavin for example or Kelsi Davis since they never did a collab together.

What do y'all think?

Random Question Same Stuff Over and Over Again

Is it just me or are they starting to get slightly repetitive and a little fake?… Okay, I love Sam and Colby I’ve been watching them for years but seriously, how many videos is it gonna be “scariest night of our lives” with the same annoying guests. They really need to switch it up. The people they’re bringing on (specifically the most recent sisters cough cough, I like them on their own they have their own style of content but why are they in a ghost video? They clearly care nothing about the investigation) it seems like they keep bringing people for clout and not who actually care about the investigations. They also just keep repeating the same style over and over again and it’s starting to seem fake and not genuine. Just me?

Edit: also the clout can go both ways not trying to say they’re clout farming but it just seems like they’re bringing people to collab to get clout for themselves from their platform or people want to collab to get clout from them not for themselves actual experience
Edit: I can’t even stand to watch some of these videos anymore like currently clicking the volume down. Why won’t they go back to just the two of them?

I just watched the latest episode and I am disappointed

The girls where loud, obnoxious, annoying and they talked over Sam and Colby

I don’t know who they are but they seem like those annoying influencers

Hopefully Sam and Colby won’t invite them ghost hunting ever again

(I apologize if it seems rude it’s just my opinion )

Conjuring house

• Upvotes

So recently, I put my mom onto Sam and Colby and she watched the conjuring House series. She was very into it, especially when Cody and satori was you know? And after I told her it was fake she was mad because it brings down the credibility of Sam and Colby‘s videos because they didn’t take it down or re-edit it I never thought about it that way and now she doesn’t wanna watch any other videos. I just wanted to know if anybody else feels this way and it’s like conjuring house is one of their most popular hell series I mean if they take it down, they’re losing millions of millions of views but I understand where she’s coming from. opinions?

As someone who likes to watch Sam and Colby and also Kelsi Davies they should definitely to an investigation together. They kinda made a small collab or some sort but they should definitely do an investigation. That would be an peak collab.

Question What happened between S&C and Kris?

• Upvotes

My fav videos are with them and Celina + Kris. It feels like forever since they collabed. Also seems like they used to collab frequently. I’ve always seen positive feedback on those videos and they had such a good dynamic and energy all together. Seemed like the four of them genuinely had good chemistry for these types of videos, a good mix of fun/jokey but also taking it seriously.

So, did something happen between them? Do you think we’ll ever get another video the four of them? Idk why my intuition is telling me it has something to do with the conjuring Cody and satori stuff… I know Celina is still friends with them and was included in the big “YouTubers at a ghost town” or whatever it was (that was a neat idea). But is it just because Kris decided to settle down now that she’s married and stick to her own content or did something happen and I just missed it?

I’m so new to this… I only started watching this summer on Tubi lol with Celina’s videos first, then moved to Sam and Colby, now on project fear and a bit of overnights channel.

Edit: since I binged a lot of their videos and have seen a lottttttt in a short amount of time lol. I do miss their older ones with friends. Jake and Corey were always funny. Nathan just seemed like a brother to them and was a great addition. Also miss their older style of videos.

Discussion Sam and Colby becoming hosts in their own game show.

Sam and Colby have become a shadow of themselves, with their latest videos feeling painfully uninspiring. I’ve watched another post recently, but I wanted to note that they mostly bring guests who add little to the story; they don’t seem to investigate or do much. By contrast, Destination Fear centers on investigation while letting the hosts remain themselves, separating that from a professional approach. Sam and Colby appear as grown adults messing around while hosting others who run the show for roughly 40 minutes to 2hours an incredibly disappointing fall from grace.

Sam and Colby present themselves as experts while guiding guests through the ghosts, projecting some stupid complete knowledge that feels weird. Their approach resembles a game show host’s performance, aiming for broad appeal in a way that is genuinely difficult to endure. The heavy editing makes this hard to watch.
