The gears sadly aren't taken from any of the in-game ones.

There are plenty of dark choices. But they often amount to either a honestly justified solution (punching and killing Saresh for example) or something that just makes you feel... stupid (like letting yourself get manipulated by Valkorion, or any dark side choice where even Lana is like "girl, i get it, but not right now, be practical").

For solo players. If you have friends or a helpful clan, you probably have better luck but woe to anyone trying to find a team on fleet in 2026 to help with content no one liked back when it came out.

In my own experience, doing Seekers was simple enough but when the time came to run that instance at the end, I was SOL. Day after day asking around and best I could do was one dude for a 4 man mission. I have to imagine it's gotten even worse over the years.

Wasn't even that bad tbf. If you're thinking of levelling this rep but dont wanna do the heroics (i didnt), just repeat the first escort every day on as many toons as you can. This track gives 310 rep per try if you're a sub so in that it's much better than other tracks (looking at you Dantooine). I didnt keep track of how long it took but it wasn't too bad. You can AFK it

Man, I can't believe I've been sleeping on MMOs for this long lol especially SWTOR, this is basically my first real MMO and I'm having way more fun with it than I expected. For a game this old, it honestly looks amazing, and I love how the combat feels. It's pretty simple, but idk, it's just really satisfying to play. The world though is probably my favorite part so far, there’s just so much detail everywhere, and the music is just so good especially in that one area in hutta lol i can’t remember. the characters and everything genuinely makes me feel like I'm in the Star Wars universe, I don't even know how to explain it lol. I can just sit there exploring and lose track of time.

I haven't played WoW, RuneScape or really any other MMOs, so I have nothing to compare it to yet, but now I'm actually interested in trying more. Been thinking about giving OSRS a shot and trying WoW Forever when that comes out next month. Really glad I gave this game a chance. Didn't expect to get this hooked, but here we are lol.

The Daily Area known as the "Black Hole" has always been a separate area on Corellia since its official release, but it was originally planned to be a part of the main Corellia map proper.

I was rereading this Deep Dive post from years ago and it mentions how the Section X Daily Area was originally going to be a part of the main Belsavis map, and that's true too! But it mentioned that the Corellia one could be incorrect as no footage of it existed.

Well, I made this footage years ago with plans to make a YouTube video about it and the Section X area. I've been to the Section X one a few times but I was never able to put another group together to capture footage of it so I sat on this for years. The Black Hole "beta" area is accessible solo. I don't really play the game anymore so I decided to share this footage for anyone interested who may have never seen or known about this before. As stated, I'm making a Smuggler character, my first one, and when I make a character, I tend to..... go a little crazy. Backstory and everything.

The problem is I am kinda..... stuck. On gender, of all things. I have 2 basic questions, one I tried finding on Google, but had difficulty, the other is on y'all's opinions.

Firstly...... which gender had more Flings? I will not sugarcoat it, the character concept I have is someone who absolutely sleeps around. Very James T. Kirk. Very Commander Shepherd. VERY Captain Jack Harkness.

BUT then they fall in luuuurve with -Insert Companion- and enjoy a monogamous, loving relationship, full of crime, passion, and money.

As for the opinions, Which gender do YOU personally prefer? Story options, personality, definitely outfits, etc. The Drip is important.

Also is it matters, I actually like Corso. And IF I go male, I'm undecided on Risha or Akaavi, but leaning towards Risha.

Do you have any additional rules that you intend to enforce on yourself during venture playthroughs?

Personally, I want the long slog of older MMOs to return, where a level up is a major thing: so I will be going for the Master Venture, while also using the White Acute Module item to further slow down my XP gain. Additionally, I will be enforcing the old fast travel mechanics, where you first had to travel to a place on the map and unlock the travel points (both speeder and QT) before you can use them. I will also be considering it as a new legacy, where my character will not get any benefits other than those forced (for instance, no starting credits, no cosmetics gained by other characters/CM).

Edit: I am tempted to potentially go even further by using only the random drop gear found on mobs. I remember when you used to not get the secondary and tertiary stats until at least chapter 2!
