Just passed a suicide note attached to a professor's door. I don't know who needs to hear this but please don't end it over this. things will get better I promise. don't do this.

Okay so I just took my midterm 1 exam for Calculus, anyways my professor wasn’t doing the seating of every other one, and instead he told us to all sit at the front, and the back rows were empty, anyways my row was fully empty with me and maybe like 2 people who were really spread out, this girl comes in, sits directly next to me, keep in mind only 3 people including me were in the row so the seats there were so much room. She sits next to me, and at first I was like “what ever more people are going to fill up the seats” which did happen but the seats next to here which were 3 were empty. Meaning she could have moved.

Throughout the exam I kept seeing her glance over at my paper and also I had no clue what I was doing so she’s going to fail either way.

Anyways the professor comes around takes a look at my exam version and her exam version and they were both the same. He let us finish the exam he didn’t say anything. When I go and put my exam to turn it in he puts it away from the rest of the piles and not in the pile d. At first I’m a bit skeptical right so I hang by the class untill it’s just a few more people in the room. He accused me of cheating, said I was helping someone else cheat. So I look at the pile and it’s just my paper there and not the other girls. So I’m like thinking to myself why is hers not there. Turns out she said I was looking at her paper.

How cooked am I? It’s a her word against mine. I told the professor that I didn’t do good in the exam and in my recitation quizzes so if I did cheat on this exam I would have gotten a 100 which would not accurately represent the ones in my recitation which would mean I definitely cheated however that’s not the case , I told him I struggled taking this exam.

Anyone ever been accused of cheating?

Edit: thank you everyone for your help even Dr G commented, I talked to my professor all is good, my exam is not being voided and I don’t have to retake the exam, I always attend lectures, office hours and recitations so he had a better understanding of my plea versus the girl. So yay no longer have to retake it.

Went to livi today for the plant nuggets cause they said they had them online and I go to the cook to order and it’s just normal wings this happened at Busch too with the plant based glizzies, and my gf had it happen to her the other day saying they had chicken and waffles and they didn’t.

if you saw the ppl from TPUSA outside of CASC today, the “sensitive crying liberals” that they debated were actually just members from TPUSA. the second the “debate” ended the “liberal” would go back behind the tent with the other members. the second someone actually tried to debate them, they would turn off the mic. the best thing we can do is not give these losers any attention they’re just clip farming and are incapable of forming a singular coherent thought so they have to fake it by staging a win.

We just had the midterm today and I felt so lost. I did all the homework problems and practice tests a couple times to study, but no matter what I do I always feel blindsided in that class.

At this point, I’m hoping I got a 50 on the midterm. Not impossible to recover from, esp with the class curve, but not great.

I’m not trying to sound like a pick me or anything, it’s a genuine question. It doesn’t seem like the guys here like black girls.

This isn’t something i’m asking out of the blue, it’s just based on observation. On my floor theres these girls who have a whiteboard on their door. One day it asked: “whats your type?” Literally no one said black girls. The closest thing I saw to black was “lightskins” even though they could be referring to biracial women.
Also, every time im on yikyak and the persons finds out im black (via my instagram or me telling them) they either go ghost, follow but never text again, or block me.
Fyi im not on yikyak for those kinds of reasons but if a convo is vibing and they ask for my insta, im gonna give it to them. I just think it’s a little odd that I get that reaction. Also, Im not ugly so I doubt it’s that.

Even the Dr.Umar post threw me off because if anything im expecting the black men who go here to like black girls but clearly not??? And i’ve heard of frats even denying girls just because they’re black like wtf?

I just think it’s so odd that we’re singled out like this—or atleast it feels that way. I could be wrong, and this only resonates with a small portion of the students here.

EDIT: Guys Im not only referring to non-black men. Im also talking about the black men that go here. The Dr. Umar post is what urged me to post this in the first place. The obvious answer would be “obviously black guys like black girls” but if someone had to reach out to Dr. Umar then maybe thats not the case? Im not saying Nobody at rutgers likes black women. However, the treatment of black women is crazy. Non-black guys need to get over themselves and what they see on the media instead of generalizing it to all black women. And black men need to do the same and stop being coons.

I’m not begging anyone to “like” or date black women just because. I’m just pointing it out. I understand that some people are not used to black people irl which is understandable. That doesn’t excuse the treatment though. Also, im not saying people HAVE to date black women, but just because you’re not dating us doesn’t mean you have to be rude in any way.
