I know this is a Rotti page, forgive me.
We have a Rotti that I post here from time to time. Her name is Kya and sheās 5. I gotten some great advice, tips and ideas from lots of people here. Weāre first time Rotti owners. Shes the light of our life. However, sheās my dog. Sheās bonded to me. My wife wanted her own dog and had been looking at different rescues. She came across a post of someone who was moving out of state and didnāt want to take her 9 month old puppy (dash hound/chihuahua mix) with a cute little snaggle tooth. Love at first sight. We got her that night with next to no information about her, other than not spayed and no vaccinations. Took her to a well puppy check up to start vaccinations and schedule her spay only to find out she was 45 days pregnant. SURPRISE š³.
Anyway I just wanted to show off their pictures and our success with owning a pregnant dog and getting her thru delivery. She had one puppy at home and 5 more at the vet ER vets. She had some problems we didnāt feel qualified to handle. 2 shots of oxytocin, 3 1/2 hours and a much lighter bank account we brought home 6 healthy puppies and one exhausted mama dog. Sheās a great mom.

Sorry to report things have gotten progressively worse over the last two weeks and unfortunately, we are going to approach a position in the next 48 hours where we have to make a tough decision. Heās not eaten in over 36 hours and his white blood cells are rocketed.
We managed to do 10 days of sub, Q treatments and visits to the vets every day, but to no avail . I never thought Iād be at this position when he was 7 1/2. Iām so lost.

Maya was recently adopted by my grandparents while my parents adopted her sister. She's much bigger and rough when playing, but her face is adorable. Send Maya a big hello.

He tried making it look like he was chewing his toy, but was actually chewing the coffee table.
How rude of me to notice and interrupt, this house is a prison

I rescued my baby from a shelter and they never told me that they confirmed her parents breeds. They told me they thought she was a sheppweiler, but her coat is a bit dark comparatively from what I've seen; and im not sure if she's just really dark in color or if she's a different Rottweiler mix (maybe a lab mix if not a sheppard) but she does have a Sheppard silhouette from behind and the colors are there, she just has very unique color placement from what I've seen. Also havent had money for a DNA test but I am very interested in doing one, and will probably post her again when I do with the results

Hey ya'll I am possibly going to be bringing home a 1yo intact male rottie that supposedly weighs 65(ish) lbs currently. He looks just like my current boy who is also 1yo and weighs about 83lbs, but my rottie was neutered way too early at 5months old by the owner I got him from. Should you still wait until at least 2 since this may be a smaller pocket rottie? And he definitely will be neutered if I do plan on keeping him after a 1 week evaluation to see how he does with all of my farm animals and other dogs, just want to know when a smaller rottie body is typically finished growing in your experience. TIA! Picture of my rottie/lab mix I lost to lymphoma this past summer and my current rottie at 6 months old for attention.
