any tips on how tobgrt s ranknon last 3 staged for my last trophy for platinum. im currently struggling

I've reached the Morreau boss fight and holy hell, Ethan is slow as fuck. I keep dying because he is so damn slow and refuses to run. I managed to cross the bridges that raise temporarily, but now I'm stuck at what comes after. Ethan just doesn't want to cross the water and Morreau continues to catch up.

This is the first time I genuinely quit a Resident Evil game and I genuinely feel like I can't finisb the game.

I wish the Village part of RE Village had been more like in this trailer.

The villagers seemed like they were going to play a much larger role rather than being killed off immediately.

Elena especially feels like they had more planned with her given the way she survives the initial deaths of everyone else (As well as saving the main character's life from her infected father) but then just unceremoniously falls to her death 5 minutes later.

Would have been nice to see fully fleshed out NPC's that feel like they have a real chance of surviving rather than the usual there and then gone fodder that all Resident Evil Civilians fall into.

In game we find out that Heisenberg is setting up and preparing to take down Miranda, not only that, but we also learned that lady D requires blood to sustain life. Eventually, she would run out of blood, and eventually, Heisenberg would launch his attack with or without rose, so it had me thinking what would happen if Ethan never intervened.

I have made it further into the game, I'm on my first playthrough, and I just survived the demonic baby part. I don't know if I have a weak stomach or whatever, but holy fuck that part was scary. When I realised where the demonic baby part was coming into the game, I saw reactions of streamers earlier and found it hilarious, I was close to quitting the game and never touch it again. I'm glad I survived this part, because this was the scariest part in the game for me.

And it's so cheaply made.

The entire purpose of creating this mode must have been to lock two characters behind the DLC.

I was going to try and platinum village, but I don't know how to proceed anymore.

It's never clarified how the player is actually being scored. I realize I have to maintain the highest possible combo to keep my score good, but the game doesn't tell any of this or other factors to the player. I'm not going to keep a mental note of enemy spawn positions and whether I've missed any because one of them didn't spawn somewhere.

I even tried following some strategies straight from youtube, using particular weapons, but those guys are getting way higher scores than me and I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW.

I didn't feel this hopeless proceeding as Chris in village of shadows difficulty.

I'm looking for sth I can follow to a T. Neonslice claims you could S rank all levels with the superior handgun, but I keep running out of handgun ammo in the last area of the castle. Idk what to do.

Finished the game for the first time via ps+ and thought it was really fun and I want to go back and play the different difficulties. My question is that since the gold version is on sale for 15$ is it worth it? Is there enough content in dlc beyond the base game to justify this? I saw one is a story dlc and one is a lady d dlc plus some other stuff but I’m not exactly sure what’s included.
