Sauce of this art of my Warhammer Fantasy gal from years ago.

11 years ago I was debating whether to get a drawing tablet, so I decided to try a few drawings without one first. 😊 I drew this on paper, then recreated the lineart with a mouse using vector points, colored it in Photoshop, and added my own photo textures. In the end I got a tablet… and I’m still using the same one today. 😄

This piece feels like belonging - to a person, place or time. The golden star exploding out of her chest represents her truest, most vibrant self that has spent a long time being shrouded in the black of mourning. As the golden veil of enlightenment and intimacy wrap around her, the safety it creates allows the grief to lift.

Suddenly, everything she had kept buried in her heart begins to erupt into this supernova, its rays beginning to reach out as her truth shines through for the first time in a long time.

Can't seem to manage to draw a fitting background, but this is Loes from my DND campaign :p

Nohra 'Lucky Claw' has made a name for herself on the Sapphire Sea, one coin toss at a time.

Her willingness to gamble her own life for the most trivial of reasons has made her an extremely dangerous adversary, as well as bringing her great wealth.

The occasional curse of an arm turning into a giant lobster claw at the hands of a scorned sea deity is just a marginal side effect.
