Taking bets on whether Bill will say this, probably word for word
r/RealTime • u/paddydog48 • 1d ago
Annoys me to see
Every time Bill is coming back in a contentious manner at someone on the panel rather then look at them in the eye the whole time he looks at the other person who he isn’t responding to also, I’m not sure why he does this, either he is looking for some sort of validation from the person who he isn’t even responding to or doesn’t feel comfortable engaging with the person he is responding to directly in the eye the whole time, I’ve always found it very strange, not sure if others have noticed what I’m describing or not, don’t think I’m imagining it anyway.
Like last week when he was coming back at the guy he would look at the blonde women half way through what he was saying, he does it every week, it’s always more noticeable when he is (in his mind) going a bit harder at someone, it’s not like his head really moves direction, just his eyes, it never makes any sense in the context of what’s occurring

Are you noticing the past few weeks of his episodes have been ranting about Israel and anti-Palestine?
Past 3-4 shows there is a mention of Palestine and/or Israel in the show, that anything happening since 1948 (nothing before) is them being always attacked and that you should stop resisting or attacking them else get reaped and sow and that there is no genocide. He then proceeds to bring in only the sycophants that support it and no one to debate why they label it a genocide.
He somewhat acknowledges the Settlers but that's just in passing as they continue to take more and more of the West Bank little by bulldozer. I am willing to bet once they've displaced all the Gazans and the Settlers have more or less taken over the West Bank, Bill will think there is still no genocide.
I also noticed in past images that Judea and Samaria (West Bank) are only 25.7% of what Israel is today yet they want that part because the Bible mentioned it or said so. They've already annexed parts of Lebanon and Syria so maybe they're going for the Greater Israel Project or some aspect of it for "safety" reasons or as Bibi calls it, "We have no other choice".
All that said, there is some questions on why Egypt didn't want to govern Gaza no more.
- 1948–1967: Egypt administers Gaza after Arab-Israeli war
- 1967: Israel captures Gaza after Six-Day War
- 1978–1979: Egypt prioritizes peace and Sinai where Gaza's future remained unresolved, and Egypt did not recover control of the territory.
- 2005: Israel withdrew from Gaza
Since Sinai is vastly a larger territory it was more prioritized. Egypt accepted a separate arrangement for Gaza rather than making the return of Gaza a condition of the peace agreement. The treaty explicitly left Gaza's status unresolved.
Palestinian population also had its own national aspirations? That or its huge refugee population, economic constraints, and contention with Israel which would draw Egypt back into war if they were to control it again.
I keep thinking 10/7 only happened because of Settler colonialism that is still ongoing.

Maher to have second dinner with Trump
I’m sorry but wth?

Title: He has an arranged rishta, but he’s in love with someone else.
I have a friend whose family had already fixed his rishta with a girl, but he was never interested in her romantically. After the rishta was fixed, he met another girl, and they eventually fell in love. Now they’re in a happy, serious relationship and genuinely want to be together.
The problem is that his family is upset about ending the arranged match. There’s pressure from both sides, and the situation has become emotionally complicated.
Despite everything, these two want to continue their relationship because they genuinely love each other and see a future together. They don’t want to separate just because of family pressure, but they also don’t want to hurt anyone unnecessarily.
I understand that the other girl’s feelings and her family’s expectations matter too. At the same time, I don’t think anyone should be forced into a marriage they don’t want.

The left and the right are both owned by Israel. Your vote barely matters.
Sure you can vote for your next favorite puppet in the next election, but just know that whoever you vote for, there is a 99% chance they serve Israel before they serve you.
Edit: Look at all of the triggererd little fan boys in the comments 😂 All defending their favorite little Israeli puppet they are going to vote for. "Nah uh, the puppet I'm voting for isn't as bad as the other puppets" 😂

He's mad: Bill Maher blasts Democrats for being fine with religion besides Jewish faith
r/RealTime • u/theblueshots • 3d ago
“…talk show host, podcaster, and self-described comedian Bill Maher.” Lol
facebook.com“This year’s midterm elections have been dominated by debates about whether or not Democrats should associate with popular Twitch streamer Hasan Piker.
The streamer, who is an ardent supporter of Palestinian freedom and dignity, has increasingly lent his platform to progressive challengers running in Democratic primaries. In March, now-Democratic nominee for the Senate in Michigan Abdul el Sayed chose to campaign with Piker, prompting a disingenuous moral panic that persists to this day. The panic is ostensibly related to a list of Piker’s past comments that his detractors claim were misogynistic, antisemitic, and anti-American.
The veracity of the accusations against Piker is questionable, to put it charitably. But while pundits and politicians can’t stop talking about every syllable Piker utters, there’s a truly unrepentant bigot whom establishment Democrats seem to have no problem hanging around with: talk show host, podcaster, and self-described comedian Bill Maher.”

Do you agree with Bill?
We can build data centers but we can’t build homeless centers.”
On the October 3rd episode of Real Time, Bill Maher didn’t hold back on the bureaucracy and misplaced priorities surrounding the homelessness crisis. Highlighting the billions of dollars spent in major cities—including the staggering $81,000 per homeless person spent in New York City—he questioned why society can easily construct massive, complex technological infrastructure but struggles to build basic, functioning facilities to help those on the streets.
Is it a matter of funding, or is the red tape and system itself entirely broken?
What do you think? Let’s talk about it 👇

Democrats Have a Bill Maher Problem

Why does Bill Maher praise Elon Musk as a genius and ignore Musk's rabid antisemitism?
People who watch Bill Maher's show today know that he has two primary refrains that almost every discussion and almost every closing segment lands on:
"Woke is destroying the country and all Democrats are crazy."
"Any criticism of Israel's government is inherently antisemitic, and antisemitism is the worst sin anyone can commit."
Lately his attacks on people alleging they are antisemitic have overtaken the "woke" complaints.
And yet, Maher has consistently praised Elon Musk. They agree on anti-wokeness, without ever explaining exactly what that term means to them. Musk is aggressively hateful toward transgender people beginning with his daughter, and Maher seems fine with that.
But Musk is also openly bigoted, and as racist as he is, his most overt bigotry is antisemitism. It has been thoroughly documented and consistent for over a decade.
Musk has cultivated antisemitism on Twitter since he bought it and renamed it. He has intentionally identified and promoted antisemites. He has personally promoted Nazism. He has retweeted Holocaust denials and he has personally commented that "Jewish communities push hatred against whites" is "the actual truth." His words.
After he bought Twitter, it began to selectively promote antisemitic tweets, and IBM contacted Twitter and told them not to place Nazi tweets next to its paid ads. Twitter refused, and IBM discontinued advertising on Twitter.
Musk then introduced his Grok AI chatbot, and soon thereafter it began tweeting Holocaust denials and antisemitic messages, naming itself "MechaHitler." Musk said it was a glitch and nothing more.
Musk then gave two Nazi salutes, and despite his long and bold antisemitic history, people like Maher waved criticisms away as unfounded.
Musk then made Nazi jokes on Twitter in response, mocking those who said he was giving a Nazi salute. And then he began to promote the German Nazi party, the AFD. And then he began to fund the party. Then he went to Germany and gave a speech telling German people that they need to get over their Holocaust guilt and move on with life—and elect far-right AFD leaders to make Germany great again.
An AFD candidate with Musk's backing recently won and he celebrated.
This litany of actual antisemitic and pro-Nazism events is thoroughly documented over many years of time. People don't care. Including Bill Maher. Maher interviewed Musk two years ago, called him a "genius" to his face, complimented his sense of humor, and his only criticism to Musk was that Musk preaches that people need to reproduce as much as possible, and Maher has no children and therefore does not agree.
Yet to Bill Maher, college students who protest what the United Nations and about a dozen global human rights organizations call a genocide, Maher calls those people antisemites. Even when people go out of their ways to specify that they only condemn Benjamin Netanyahu and his current regime, Maher calls them antisemites. When those critics are Jewish themselves, Maher suggests they are self-hating antisemitic Jews who would support another Jewish Holocaust.
And yet he only calls Elon Musk a genius with a sense of humor.
Does anyone know why?
Some people here have said they know people on his staff. Can anyone ask Maher why he supports the most-prominent and wealthiest antisemitic person on Earth unconditionally and condemns anyone who specifies their only criticisms are of Netanyahu and his government?

Feal Time - which person does Bill Maher do the best job of,sucking up to, Netanyahu, Musk, or Trump?
Feal is an archaic word, yet it sounds better than Fealty, Time and has the same root meaning. For the pedantic ones out there. It usually means you're the smartest people, and we should all try to be pecise,if not understood...Bill Maher has never played sports, with skill, but I'll be damned if he isn't great at throwing up softballs... He certainly threw softballs at Elon Musk and Netanyahu when they were on his show. Maybe he should have been a cheerleader instead of playing sports, which she sucks at , if I forgot to mention it......Since that time he's never criticized Israel or Musk, and seems to be the biggest cheerleader for Israel you'll see, if you have the displeasure of seeing them ( I'm likely not the only one, I can no longer watch him, even clips are tough, he's that insufferable.I do swallow the pill of listening to their BS via the I hate Bill Maher pod👍)... He has never interviewed Trump but has never had any real criticism about one of the worst humans, scratch that, the worst human of the century, worst American ever, most detrimental presence on this entire planet, yeah he can never find any real criticism of that guy, Trump... He's good at creating a bullshit narrative that he is hard on Trump, instead of the truth of him being hard on for Trump... The worst Trump has gotten over the years, the more fealty Maher has shown towards him... In a way Bill Maher is right, he hasn't changed, he was always an annoying creep, supporting countless celebrity predators, and even amateur ones like that female teacher, going all the way back to the 90s... He has never been funny, but that just shows you he also has changed. Just like me and others have grown with age, he is the type who is digressed. He's changed for the worse
