You are absolutely right, I will exercise article 19 and go to delhi to tell the people protesting that they should not cause so much unrest. The government will uphold my constitutional rights for sure! Unless they choose to be selective in how they follow the constitution...

I dint give 2 hoots about her stance on umar khalid but the way government handling these cases time and time again is clear sign of something fishy there.
Looks more of propaganda to keep umar khalid without fair trial. If that’s been allowed they can use the same tactics with others too. Look at how they put nia act on anyone they want for eg sonum wangchuk. Even after the nia they released him but didn’t make the details for his arrest clear. You need to be really famous or hard core protester to survive even then its not guaranteed.
Heck bjp uses words like traitor so loosely with anyone who disagrees with them.
Even BJP is as much as responsible for whats happening in the country

He is arrested for the alleged conspiracy during the caa protest which got violent and few people died. So because of his alleged role in causing the riot so he is jailed for the UAPA act.
But people hate him because of his support for afzal guru, praising terrorists, alleged celebration in campus during our army and crpf personnels die. And alleged raising the slogans like "kitne afzal maroge harr ghar se afzal niklega" and "Bharth tere tukde honge" supporting kashmiri seperatism.
