FAR export data?

Hey all!

Does anyone know if there's a way to export the Mach sweep from FAR's static analysis? I've been working on a quick rocket simulator so i can design my RP-1 sounding rockets without having to simulate it thousands of times. Right now I'm just eyeballing the drag curve and i think it is a bit inaccurate.

(Also if someone knows which Atmospheric model RO uses that would also be cool as well)

I'm not 100% this will help for your RO question, but I actually made a kOS script with a sounder to actually gather pressure and temperature data for a trajectory optimization code I'm writing in python. You can find them at these two links:

Temperature

Pressure

The format is [temp/press, altitude], data requires a bit of processing because it exports the scale and units.

I can't speak to FAR exports, but hopefully someone can comment because that would be very useful to me as well. I've used this application (RAS Aero II) as a stopgap in the interim for finding assumed sub-Mach 1 drag coefficients for my rockets in the thick lower atmosphere.

interesting, the pressure is consistently less than the ISA model up to 100k.

You might want to know this as well, but the atmospheric model is stored in the earth config of the real solar system mod. so there's the proper answer

I’ll have to check it out, thanks!
