Thank you from Canada :)
Last night we attended the Porto vs Betis game. We were sitting below the Porto Supporters. I never knew this much PASSION could exist between the Porto and Betis fans. Much crazier than an Ice Hockey Playoff game. Although someone was sitting in our seats when we arrived and it made it very stressful, being the polite Canadian who didn't want to cause disruption, we eventually got it sorted.
We also attended a Real Madrid match this trip and it was so bland compared to last night.
Thanks for the experience!

other question Is it safe to wear a Barça jersey at La Cartuja and around Seville?
Hi everyone!
I'm a Barça fan visiting Sevilla this weekend for the Betis vs Barça match.
My tickets are in "Preferencia Alta Inferior Lateral" , and I'd like to know if it's safe and allowed to wear a Barcelona jersey in that section.
Also, is it generally safe to walk around Seville wearing a Barça jersey, especially on matchday?
I'd appreciate any advice
Thanks!

Following Betis away
Hi all, does anyone know the process for how Betis fans get tickets for their away games in the away section? Keen to know the comparisons between England and Spain.

I know you guys are biased, but which club has more fans in Spain out of you and Sevilla? I was quite surprised that your new stadium has 16000 more seats than Sevilla

How to get to and from La Cartuja?
Hi, visitor from Australia here excited to see my first live La Liga game!
I’ve read mixed comments about the location of the new stadium, and no concerted advice apart from “walking 1 hour”. I’ll be going with my wife who has trouble walking long distances - from Google maps, the only public transport seems to be a bus from city centre, then a 30~ minute walk.
Is there actually no other public transport option (apart from Uber or driving)? Are there shuttle buses that run on match days?

Post Match Thread: Real Betis 5 - 2 Osasuna | La Liga Matchday 8
Yes I know it's been a day. I was busy.
Betis Goal Scorers: Isco (10' PEN, 67'), Abde Ezzalzouli (31'), Budimir (48' OG), José Antonio Morante (90 + 6')
Osasuna Goal Scorers: Budimir (51'), Raúl García (56')
10' - Isco scores via penalty goal due to foul committed by Unai Santos (fouled Riquelme), Betis [1] - 0 Osasuna
31' - Abde Ezzalzouli scores (Assist: Cucho Hernandez), Betis [2] - 0 Osasuna
48' - Budimir own goal (would have been nice if La Liga credit Llorente with the goal instead as he headed it prior), Betis [3] - 0 Osasuna
51' - Budimir scores (Assist: Rubén García), VAR allowed goal, Betis 3 - [1] Osasuna
56' - Raúl García (former Betico) scores (Assist: Alejandro Catena), Betis 3 - [2] Osasuna
67' - Isco scores after Osasuna failed to clear the ball, Betis [4] - 2 Osasuna
90 + 6' - José Antonio Morante scores on his La Liga debut from outside the box (Assist: Héctor Bellerín), Betis [5] - 2 Osasuna

Anyone else get stressed when Abde stood over the ball for the penalty?
One day, as a present, Pellegrini and the team will let him take one….😁It was great to have him (and Isco!) back in better and better form today.

Last minute tickets for Porto?
I have a last minute work trip to Sevilla this week, and I should be free in the evenings. The tickets for the Porto game are sold out online, is there a chance to get one somewhere or do I have to find a bar? And in that case, any recommendations of nice bars/areas for a betis game?

What are the thoughts ahead of the Osasuna match? Osasuna is usually poor away from home

Power Banks
Are power banks allowed in the stadium? Long way back to the city centre so thought I’d ask.

Betis-Barcelona ticket
Hi all,
Is there any way to find an affordable ticket to see the game on October 17th. I was waiting for the general entrance to be released on Betis’ website but the tickets are around 200€ or more and i really can’t afford it.
Is there any other way to get a legit entrance? I’ll go alone so it’s only one ticket. Is there a platform where socios sell their own tickets when they can’t go maybe? 🤔
If anyone has any input i’d be super grateful. Thank you!

Personal Details on Tickets
Hola Beticos,
Myself and my colleague are travelling from Ireland to see the Barcelona game.
We have received tickets through StubHub but the names & ID numbers do not much our own.
My question is; do staff at La Cartuja ever make an issue of cross referencing personal details against ticket details? Or is it merely a case of scanning the QR code at the turnstile?
Thanks 🙏

Cancelación de 2 entradas Betis x FC Porto
¡Hola, amigos béticos!
Necesito vuestra ayuda.

To My Fellow Beticos in the DMV
Betis' next 4 games are all home games. Are you gonna see them at Glory Days in North Reston? If so, which ones? I'm thinking of seeing their games against Osasuna and Barca there. Idk about Porto & Feyenoord.

Food in Seville
Hola béticos,
Irishman here who is currently fighting cancer and hopes to be in the clear by December. I am hoping to travel to your lovely city in January to catch Troy Parrott, and spend a few days checking out the sights & lovely cuisine.
Chemo is doing a number on my tastebuds but by the time im in Seville everything should be back to normal.
I am hoping to find the best restaurants, tapas, street food etc.. the city has to offer. I am open to anything and everything, from a special dish unique to city, to the best dining experiences, to tapas that blow your mind. I would be forever greatful to get recommendations from locals who know the best places and dishes, as im really not one for the tourist traps.
Also if there's a tapas bar you'd recommend to load up on food and drinks before the game, id really appreciate a recommendation!

My plans for Osasuna game
Hi All,
I am travelling from the UK to Seville on Friday.
I am coming to the Osasuna game next Sunday and am staying in the Hotel Alfonso near the University.
I know the Cartuja is a long way away from the centre of the city but to take in some pre match atmosphere, I am planning on walking from my hotel to Alameda De Hércules, enjoying some food and drink with the pre match atmosphere and then making my way to La Cartuja from there.
Is this a good plan?
