I’m not normally the one who makes these posts but now that it’s Wednesday, how are we feeling headed into the Techmo Bowl? I’m cautiously optimistic as beating Duke was a huge step forward, but James Franklin is a very experienced coach and I know that VT will be motivated to get a win after two straight losses. Hope the team can use Efford for motivation.

camera only got a little wet

Ugly but needed win. Team most definitely hasn't given up on anything.

Wish they didn't cancel all the pregame activities, had a big group with kids.

Overcast and 64 degrees is great.

**please slightly turn down the piped in music**

We beat Duke! this team isn’t dead! the 1-11 crowd doesn’t know ball. I still believe in Brent Key!!!!

Ramblin Wreck!

Finally made it to a game after graduating. These remixes of classic songs are revolting. What the hell is this?

Hey everyone! Georgia Tech comes out of the bye with a steep task in defeating the undefeated defending ACC champion Duke Blue Devils. Here is the ultimate preview.

Would this be feasible? Would the team even want this? Fans?

Looking more and more like it's gonna be pretty bad at kickoff, time. I'm still planning to be there with 7 other Tech fans. Panchos ready to go.

Honestly I am 90% sure Duke is giving us belt to ass lowkey, but then again this is coming out of a bye week.

Your thoughts?

Also, typo on ade, supposed to be are.

Hello! GT grad and CFB fan recently relocated to NYC area. I read about AWOL Bar & Grill in Kips Bay as a potential spot to watch GT football, but haven’t found anything if people still go there and/or if the info I have is dated. Has anyone been recently? Any other spots or reccs in NYC for GT fans to watch the game?

Just bought a bunch more tix for game this Saturday v Duke. So big group of us heading to the game. All Tech fans of course. Love the 3:30 kickoff time. Won't be hot.

Positive attitude leads to positive results.

Go Jackets!!

Hey guys, quick look at where the Jackets stand on the bye.

First, since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. This week is 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Vanderbilt at No. 2 Georgia is on the slate, so feel free to pick the upset. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET, so here's something to do on the bye week.

Now the Jackets. The 34-27 loss at Stanford was another one that got away. Tech led 20-10 in the second quarter on Trelain Maddox's two TDs, then Davis Warren threw for a career-high 396 and Stanford scored on three straight second-half drives, including a 33-yarder on fourth-and-11.

That's a 14-13 loss to Colorado to open, a loss to No. 18 Tennessee, and now this one. A couple of plays from 3-1. The bye comes at the right time before ACC play really starts: Duke at Bobby Dodd on Oct 10, then at Virginia Tech.

What are you guys seeing? Is it the pass defense, or just close-game luck?
