Half post because of the joke but other half because we're slowly approaching the third digit om Ralselle fics and i'm happy to see how long it would take for it.

Big rant about Ralselle on the game, also this is just a half-joke/theory, not saying the fox himself actually hates it. But there's probably something going on.

Why does Toby actively Ignore Ralselle on the game? It's been 5 chapters and we didn't got a single talk between them. So why is that?

Of course you could say because Noelle has only been on the Cyber-city darkworld but even Berdly (Which acts on a similar same role as Lancer for example for chapter 1) talks with him ever so slightly.

Now, i'm aware this is because Ralsei and Noelle will (Most likely) get their talk on chapter 6. But the thing is, Ralsei has actually spoken about Noelle.

You see there's an unused dialogue on the acid tunnel where you could talk with Ralsei about who you had given the present before. One of those options being Noelle, He points out that Noelle is strong on Ice magic. Ralsei without even knowing about Noelle knows about her powers, sure, this scene came unused. BUT HOW DO YOU PUT THAT ONTO THE GAME?

There's also a scene on chapter 4 bout Noelle talking about Ralsei, describing him "Kris brother, but not...". Now this is a used scene but it happens right after you're fighing with Kris on Dess's room. It's a pretty deep hidden scene that most might not even encountered. But you may have found was Ralsei knowing about Noelle knowing which items Noelle could equip, but that it's completly worthless information but again it shows that Ralsei does know about Noelle, and it's likely that there's some plan on making with them.

But that's it. At no other point in the game, at not other instance of all 5 chapters, there's a single talking between Ralsei and Noelle or something about them talking about the other. Not even on the weird route. Not even if you hck your game to include Noelle on your party. NOTHING!

So, could it be a small coincidence. But if you pay attention to the details you notice that they actualy are like, way more related than most characters on the game? The amount of paralels between them is not normal for people who haven't seen each other. they're both healers, they both need to break free of who they are, They both have an element which they're strong on. They both have a dynamic with Susie on about how she makes them want to be brave enough to break free of their models. Ralsei's arc is about being himself and be Ralsei-like while Noelle's motivation on the weird route is about wanting to not be herself and Noelle-stuff.

This is what makes me believe Toby Fox COULD hate this. Isn't it weird that with all of these little details we still are waiting for an interaction between them? Is almost as if Toby rubbed it on our faces. Just anouncing it for anyone who DARES to ship these two Like "Hey these two characters are almost everything alike but they will NEVER talk".

Now, that makes you question "Why would Toby do that for a rarepair on one of his games?" because obviously, nobody actually cares about Ralselle. Ralselle could be a simple joke for Toby, it's a stupid rarepair at the end of the day for him. If Ralselle was ever plot-relevant, Toby would had to adress the similarities between them. But he won't, chapter 5 was a perfect time for it to happen but it didn't. With chapter 6 and Noelle coming to castletown, it is likely that they would talk, but it's already to late to adress those similarities. After all, the mage is lefting the party. Which could mean that either Ralsei or Noelle get captured by the roaring knight. Or that the time they will be together will be way to short for it to adress anything.

tldr: Toby fox COULD hate Ralselle, he will most probably never adress the similarities between them. Every scene of them talking about the other are vague or apport nothing or are unused dialogue. Which could mean that Toby is not interesting on elaborating on them despite they having so many things in commom on both surface and deep levels

READ THIS. NOT SAYING THIS AS A "Oh yeah i'm friend of them therefore I'm promoting their content" NO. ACTUALLY READ THIS. Lowk I think this fic is really good in terms of Ralselle fics so pls. Give it a chance...

So the idea is:

-Ralsei knows how to travel to other darkworlds.

-Noelle knows something is probably happening at the bunker.

-What if the bunker was a darkworld. And they needed to travel to it?

-In a copy-paste to Kriselle drowing in the lake. Ralsei and Noelle are going to take a trip. Far beyond what anyone else has traveled on darkworlds. Togehter. Maybe just from the desire of seeing December again. Maybe to know what is happening there. Maybe to take advantage of Noelle's snowgrave and finish it all from the inside.

-The only way to see her again (And don't get killed in the process)

Why do you people exist?? Like, what compels someone to ship these two?? I'm not hating on it, I'm just confused.

so I was playing chapter 5 and when I got to the part where susie sold the date with mew mew I turned off the game and started writing this to make her suffer(by writing ralselle) i’ll upload this to ao3 once I get access

After quite some time since the Wplace rise in popularity, we started a week ago this little fun project of expanding and leaving a mark over the ship we all love on the planet, we are currently doing the second image attached to this post, so if you're interested on drawing something or help with the current project all help will be appreciated!
