What the hell is this in silver? What sort of joke are you making exactly by doing this after 3 loses? Remove the bots if you are about to do this thing. What's the point of having bots if they're gonna smack me 100% sure after 3 loses? I got better chances to win against normal players than these bots.

I wanted to talk a little bit about this guys play style in PVP, mainly classic arena for this thread. So let's assume both teams have this guy in every match, how can we reasonably expect these types of matches to play out?

Team 1 orynyx goes first and uses his lockout. Team 2 orynyx gets an instant turn and also uses lock out.

So every match involving 2 orynyxs will inevitably begin with both teams needing to pass an ACC vs RES check or face 3 turn lockout. No weak hits are possible.

The team whose orynyx went first will now get to play next after benefiting from the 20% tm boost. This is where you would like to slot in a reset champ in extremely high resist to reset the remaining two champs, but also with enough speed to go second after orynyx, who will likely be built very fast. Landing a lockout reset in that narrow window seems pretty unlikely. Or we could just build our whole team in high res, which isn't really doable for 95% of the player base. Especially considering you would like 3 champs in high resist 9 merc, but grim forest hasn't been around long enough for that. So here's our first decision point, do we choose 9 merc or focus on high resist? Maybe this is plariums way of pushing us away from 9 merc. Anyways, what's more likely is players can build maybe ONE champ with high enough resist to prevent being locked out, but not enough speed to go second after orynyx. That means 1 turn of the fight will be played A1s vs A1s. After that maybe the one resist champ you can build is a mavara who will provide inc res to the team to prevent the second lockout. That seems feasible. Or maybe champs like mortu return is some kinda of way and threaten your use of aoe A1s.

You could also bring mythical champs to the table with merc or stone skin and swap to second form and use those skills. This is where champs like arne and komidus and gizmack can really shine.

In short I see a rise in the value of high res anything, but more so high res protection sets like 9 merc or stone skin. Chrono will be great too but will lack the inherent survivability unless the rolls and sub stats are near perfect.

I think this meta will push some of the 9 merc out of the meta in most cases, bring in more resistance builds which are susceptible to high damage, bring back high speed, and really focus on champs with high powered A1s and counterattacks will also be strong. And maybe allow for OG champs like mortu to feast a little bit. Oh and a whole lot more of no one using the skills they really want to use because they will be on permanent cooldown. Your thoughts?

TL;DR: Bolint is actually soo god damn powerful, I set this team up in arena, if you see it, ATTACK IT, I wanna see how it does.

My original post got accidentally wiped before I pressed post so this will be shorter than I originally had.

I’ve thought about what new collab there could be that would push new or returning players to return to the game and after a bit of thinking I thought that a realistic and engaging collab would be Wizards of the Coast. WotC for those who don’t know are the creators of the franchise Dungeons and Dragons, a very popular role playing game as well as the card game Magic: The gathering. With an extremely large players base and with the past success of games like Baldur’s gate, there are a lot of possibilities with what can be included in the game with a collab like this. If it’s possible to obtain a 2 way license with WotC and Larian studios then the sky is the limit with all the character possibilities in BG3, but even just a license with WotC is plenty.

My concepts in order of the images above:

1. “The illithid” are psionic and telepathic ability users. I figured this would probably be the big Void chase champ that everyone would want. Would work well in any of the corrupted factions. Would be some form of support/attack control unit. If they gave him out as a login champ I do think that would bring more people to try the game, but it wouldn’t make sense from a profit perspective. Probably the path or titan event champ.
   
2. “The Githyanki” or just “Githyanki” are psionic ability users with a high martial prowess. Would function well as a magic or spirit affinity character. They would fit well into the Gaellen Pact factions or Barbarian faction. Think it would be good as the login champ or fusion as this is probably the second most popular concept from the franchise that people would want and therefore should be easily obtainable.
   
3. “Umber Hulk” are insectoid type creatures with high physical capabilities known for high strength and constitution. Would be perfect as a force affinity unit but could also be magic affinity as they use disorienting attacks for those who look at it. They would fit well into the Gallean Pact factions or maybe Dark Elves based on Lore. Perfect Defense/HP based Nuker imo or also just a good general tank.
   
4. “The Owlbear” is the generic but awesome brute type unit. Perfect force type champion and putting it anywhere other than the skinwalkers faction is criminal. Even though it’s not meant to be, they can just make the champion itself Bipedal so it fits into the game. I think it falls into the same class as the Umber Hulk where I’d make it a HP/Defense nuker or tank.

ALSO PLARIUM PLEASE MAKE THE NEXT FACTION AN INSECTOID BASED FACTION YOU GUYS ARE NOT SLICK YOUR LORE HAS HINTED IT AND WEBS OF CORRUPTION MADE IT EVEN MORE APPARENT.

Lmk what ya’ll think about this though as I just thought it would be a cool concept and really want them to specifically bring Mindflayers into the game.

I was going for scarecraw but im very very drained and from this point if i complete the fusion no way i can go for the next one. However slight chance if i skip from this point on i might gather enough resources to just able to get him. I have Talenna but not fabian so new fusion might be super good for my account. Is it worth skipping scarecraw and try to go for the next one. I have 7 sacreds and 60 ancients at this moment and 1k gems left so pretty scarce. However if i manage my resources and daily energies just right i might able to complete it.

Got the 5 star for my scarecrow loaded yessir 😎 honestly as a new player I liked the event and it wasn't too hard. It was challenging but made me work for it. I rather do this for souls and titan events for the actual champs!

I found a way to use ClaudeAI desktop app and HellHades to build teams from your roster, for any area in the game.

Open your champions list in hellhades.com in chrome (or chromium based) browser. Install Claude for Chrome extension and from Claude desktop app, tell it to fetch your champions list from hellhades and then you can ask it to build teams for you. It can get your champions stats from the list page and give you suggestions on what to improve.

Hey guys, I saw the upcoming 2x ancients and progressive chance for tinman, and I was thinking, I'm gonna burn all my shards trying to get this guy cause he's really good. However, they just revealed the new fusion, and its super busted. I have about 90 ancients, and I am currently probably 10 or 20 shards without gold. Unfortunately, I pretty much know the answer already, but should I save them for the fusion?

Haven't really gone crazy on any of the events/tournaments, but have tried to max them out when I have had the rss. I just don't want to end up just short of the 1500 needed to get the Scarecrow, so I have a full 4 person OZ team. I probably won't ease up until I hit it, but just less than a week to go do you think I should be good?

I just had a quick question about my Fabian and his speed.

Currently level 79, silver 4 in live arena, gold 5 classic and I don't even care about TTA.

Currently my Fabian is sitting at 350 speed and I'd say about 80% of the time I can out speed the enemy team. In live arena I have to be very specific on who I ban and almost exclusively either go for the biggest aura lead or who I know will be the fastest.

My question is,

I've been stuck at 350 speed for a while now and when will 350 become not enough? Specifically live arena, around what tier do people tend to start to run laps around 350 speed?

I want to know when I'll need to really go 10 toes down on farming either event dungeons or 3x speed in dragons lair.

Seeing that new fusion on the rise
I finally gave in.😭

So basically I should Say F Scarecrow and skip the champ chase and save up for the next fusion event instead? I do indeed play Pvp as much as I do Pve, Scarecrow crow would’ve helped me clear FW. The fusion can help me clear FW for dark elves hopefully. The only thing I’m worried about is my shards this event drained almost most of my resources I was planning on doing the event and then save for the Christmas fusion but I heard their not really good most of the time.

Based on my heroes so far what do you reccomend to chooce on the 2x and 20x progressive chsnce Lion or Tin Man? I am looking to replace Kael with nuker Tin, however I have Mavara and Lion pairs perfect with her.

What are average players doing with the mythicals. And by average I mean us players who have three mythicals, enbrys, mikage and galleus.....and then summoned, yep you geuessed it, another galleus....so many mythicals out there what do people do....use the dupe or +1?

I am fully aware that my description of average player will offend some who do not have any mythicals....however, my question remains...for players who have very few....like me...and then pull a dupe what do we do?

Boys I know i have a problem. I play on way too many accounts but 3 of mine could really benefit from this fusion. On the lion fusion I did it on 2 accounts but it was rough. Should I attempt 3? Has anyone else done 3 fusions at the same time before?
