Help me search Need Help Finding what event is on screen
Hello. I am hoping someone could help me. This was taken at a bar at night. I am trying to decipher what sport or event this image is from. I know its likely impossible to get the actual broadcast, but just the sport would be very helpful. Date unknown but likely 2026. There is no useful metadata. https://imgur.com/a/ZQIBUUT
Update: Since so many people are curious about why I'm investigating. Depending on what event this is I will know if I am being cheated on by my partner.

If you took this picture on your phone, can you not tell what date the picture was taken? Imgur seems to have stripped most detail and info from the PNG file, so it thinks it was taken today. Most phones imprint EXIF data on photos taken.

Was not my phone. I do not have the original.

Out of curiosity who's phone is it and why are you determined to figure out what the event was/when it was taken?

Banana Ball? Flashy outfit. Baseball uniform. At least, that's my first guess!

I don't think there would be that large of a crowd for a Banana Ball game, that's a large stadium and it's packed. Appears to be an MLB game. I have no idea why, but the jersey kind of makes me think Milwaukee Brewers?

They played a game at Texas A&M's football stadium earlier this year in front of 102,000 people. That's over two Yankee Stadiums.

Could the guy on the right potentially be Daniel Oordt (Orange suit man)?

I looked at a few dozen pics on Google and couldn't find any where he is wearing a hat. Doesn't mean it can't be him though!

The athlete on screen is 100% a baseball player. But if i had to guess, just by the composition and everything, i would actually guess that it's a commercial for a baseball broadcast, rather than the broadcast itself. Which would make it virtually impossible to pinpoint a date.
EDIT: I am no longer 100% certain that is a baseball player, so ignore me. But I still feel like this is from a promo or commercial, rather than an actual game. Or possibly a pre-game or posy-gane studio show.

It's a sports report broadcast, from the sidelines or courtside. I'm guessing World Cup coverage if 2026.

I like world cup coverage as a guess! You may be right

Don’t think it’s World Cup. The player looks like he’s wearing a baseball uniform. Batting helmet and a gray road uniform. Boston? Minnesota?

It gives me Tennessee Volunteers Football game vibes. Perhaps an opening ceremony or a half time show. I just checked on YouTube and it looks like they had a Dolly Parton tribute before one of their games recently, and coincidentally that was kind of the vibe I was getting from the image. It definitely looks like the Tennessee palatte. That's not Dolly in the pic, but something tells me this is a good direction. But even if not Tennessee, it def has college football vibes.
Go on YouTube and search "Tennessee Volunteers Football halftime show" and you should see a short video talking about Tennessee doing Dolly Parton tributes all season.

I doubt its the Vols Dolly halftime show as this was taken in a bar at night and the game started at 3:30pm EST. however, def could be football.

The Vols often play prime time - evening and night shows. It seemed like you didn't have a a specific day in mind, but knew it was 2026, so it could have been September 12th or 19th, both of which were played at night.

It's a baseball player. It's very obviously a baseball player. One who is not wearing Tennessee colors.

To me this looks more like a Baseball Tonight broadcast. The background is clearly baseball, and then there are two personalities presenting the clip in the foreground. Figuring out which specific episode seems difficult, though, unless someone logs what they wear each episode.

To me, this looks like an episode of The Cube, hosted by Dwane Wade. I think DWade is wearing orange and has glasses on or it’s a weird reflection and the Dolly Parton-esque blond is the contestant .. just my 2 cents! I’ve been unable to find pictures of him in this outfit or any contestants with hair like this so far.

Looking at the ESPN bio's page it looks like it might be Genie Bouchard, which would make it Tennis coverage, but the blurry sports player, that I also totally thought was a baseball player, upon closer inspection really looks like a soccer player. That would actually make sense, as Wimbledon and the World Cup overlapped (Wimbledon went from June 29th - July 12th and the World Cup went from June 11th - July 19th). So I would guess that this is a Sportscenter promo from around that time.
Now to get REALLY out there, IF (and I mean a BIG IF) I'm right and that is a soccer player and it's the World Cup, only two World Cup kits were white and had a band across the chest as this one appears to. The Netherlands and Turkey. The Netherlands never actually got to wear their white "away" kit, opting for their iconic all-orange uniform for all their games. Turkey DID get to wear their white kit, two times, once vs. Paraguay on June 19th and once against the US on June 25th. ALSO the Netherlands beat Tunisia that day 3-1, which might explain why the gentlemen we can see has an orange suit on. ALSO Wimbledon hadn't started yet on the 19th but had a full day of Women's singles play on the 25th.
Anyway, this is a lot of conjecture built on a lot of conjecture but might give you some avenues of searches that could help you narrow it down.
