I was drugged on campus! YES TODAY 10/13 . There was a group of 5-6 guys on campus doing a “public interview” asking what’s your thoughts on social media? One of the guys had a microphone in his hands and was holding the mic super close to my face. I pushed him away at a few times because the mic was so close. But he kept asking me questions. The microphone had a strong aroma smell like a chemical based smell. It smelled like a chemical from boxed hair dye. They said they were apart of a yoga group and told me to take a deep breath in and out. After the second time they were all saying “wtf” and laughing. The guy with mic asked if i was immune? I was confused to what was happening. And started walking away. I heard the guy with the microphone saying out loud, “you don’t smell that?” a few minutes later my notes started to feel slightly numb and weird.

This happened in broad daylight around 4-5 pm.
EVERYONE PLEASE BE CAREFUL WALKING AROUND CAMPUS

I called campus security immediately! I hope they did something about it. They need to do something to make this campus safe!!

I’m actually traumatized from taking this elective. This professor makes it your absolute nightmare for an ELECTIVE course. If you want to spend your weeks doing essays and replying to your peers in essay form please do so. My class and I are suffering taking this class this semester. He assigns so many instructions yet everything still doesn’t feel clear. If he cared so much about us writing perfectly every single time he should’ve just taught english. I had a writing intensive course last semester and even that was easier than this. I don’t understand the people who give him good reviews on rate my professor I have a feeling they are fake. I saw criminology and thought oh wow fun elective since this isn’t really my major and now this is more course load than my own major. Definitely would NOT recommend. He actually probably has a trauma about people using AI because he mentions that shit every single class. He makes the exams the most annoying as possible trying to match 25 definitions in ONE question. That already takes like 2 hours of my time. We kept telling him that the format was a bit weird and he wont listen. He also replies to each essay with another essay of feedback. Seriously who has the time!?

As the title suggests I think you should talk to and meet as many people as you can when you’re in college. My backstory first so I used to be a loner in middle school and high school and when before I started attending here 3 years ago, I said fuck it and decided to set a goal for myself to talk to as many people as possible and I did just that. This was probably the best decision I’ve ever made, I met my first ever girlfriend, got invited to parties, hangouts, even traveled upstate together with the friends I met lol. I’ve met so many amazing people that I could probably sit here and type all day about them. My point is that if you think you’re stuck or “shy” then you really aren’t and you’re actively sabotaging yourself and I would know because I used to be like that. So please, as an upperclassman I encourage you to get out of your bubble and connect with as many people as you can, Im sure your future self would thank you for it. Regret > Embarrassment.

I‘m a CS major and literally not a single course out of my remaining CSCI300+ levels are available for spring/all waitlists full... and yet not allowed to take epermits for any of them… lol am I just not doing Spring?

so I have to enroll for a class that I NEED but the people in charge are quite literally out of office until the 20th of October. Is there a way to fast track the enrollment or am I fucked until the 20th?
