Pan Progress Q3 Fragrance Empties
Chugging along....
r/ProjectPan • u/peggyannsfeet • Jan 03 '26
Hi all, With 2025 at an end we are getting end of year project pan updates. We are also growing and getting an influx of people. We are mainly focusing on beauty/hygiene items and unfortunately candles are not a part of that.
With that being said please read the rules if you are new.
Your candle empties would be loved at r/everythingpan and any other pans you may have.
Thank you - Mod team

What do you do when you really really really dislike an aspect of a product but are trying to use everything up?
r/ProjectPan • u/Few-Investigator1189 • 19h ago
Thereās not a single pigment to be used here š the last bits where already with a brush inside of it.

Shade: follow back
I decided to start project pan for this lip oil. I leave it at work and I reapply like 2-3 times during the day.
First photo is Monday and second today (Thursday)
I think Iāll take one every week and then collect all the photos for one post. That way I commit to finishing and coming back to update!

Does anyone else still use eyeshadow that they got when they were like... 11... anyway, I do! This is my "Drama Queen" palette from The Color Workshop that I literally own since 2016. Don't bother me about expiration dates because I don't care. This is my focus palette as it is so old, and I've made quite some progress!

First post YAY! This is all my empties from late July until now! I am trying to move out of my parents house and downsize. As recovering spender and beauty lover, Iām trying to be as intentional going forward. āØš

I have finally started working so I now wear make-up on a daily basis, which means more pans for me YAAY!!
Reviews:
Rom&nd bare water cushion 03 - 6/10- does not work with my holy grail sunscreen, also too neutral for my complexion (I know there is a little bit left in the packaging but I cant really get it out with my spatula or brush or cushion sponge)
Essence caring shine 204- 10/10, I have left some of it to shade match, I am so sad that it is discontinued
Essence eye pencil in a color I do not remember- 5/10- stuck in the cap so I am calling it quits, does not set, gives me weird undereye bits

I bought this back in like November/December of 2022 when I worked for LancĆ“me. Iāve used it pretty consistently over the last four years (WELL past its expiry date) and it still has like half the product left! I donāt wanna be stuck with this lipgloss for another four years š

Last week, I went through my makeup collection and filled an entire tray with products I wanted to declutter. Some are really old, some I don't like anymore, and a few even smell weird.
But a week later, I still haven't thrown anything away. š I've even taken a concealer back because I thought I could use it on my face instead of under my eyes, even though I have no idea when I opened it (probably 2ā3 years ago).
Now I keep finding excuses to use everything up. I'm considering using my 8-year-old Bobbi Brown lipsticks as blushes, or mixing my too-yellow MAC foundation with something else to make it work in winter.
I've been on a no-buy since August and I'm doing Project Pan, but I feel like I'm becoming obsessed with using everything up instead of just enjoying my makeup.
I have plenty of products I actually love, yet I feel so guilty about throwing anything away unless it's completely empty.
Has anyone else struggled with this? How did you learn to let go of products without feeling like you're wasting money?

So for some comtext Iāve been ācollectingā makeup since about 2024. A few months ago I realized how overwhelming it is for me to have such a big collection plus I only use certain products. Also my entire makeup routine changed over the years so now I have a bunch of useless products(for me) laying around
1. Blushes: I had 16 and and decluttered 10, basically kept NYX and all the high end ones. The problem is I donāt wear blush anymore and no, I donāt use it as eyeshadow since I wouldnāt wear pinks/reds.
2. Foundations: I have two and never reach for them anymore since I hate the feeling of having something āplasteredā on my skin.
3. Eyeshadow: I have a bunch(revolution, covergirl, morphe etc) some of them are cool and warm tones, some I like the texture some no, I feel so bad everytime I try to get rid of em since they cost money but realistically I only have like three palettes I use constantly. Also one I got from my dad but I donāt like it at all.
I also have other makeup but these are my worst categories.
Please help me decide what I should do about this, do I try to use it up, declutter? Itās just annoying and overwhelming to have this much makeup
