Most basic analytics dashboards tell you how many people visited and how many pages they viewed. I wanted to explore something more useful: why people visit in the first place.
So I’ve been building a custom analytics dashboard with a Founder & Visitor Intent section.
It tracks:
Visitor roles, such as founders, co-founders, and developers
Goals, such as building an MVP, improving an app, or automating a process
Answered versus skipped prompts
Hourly traffic intensity
The screenshot shows 30 prompts displayed, with 12 answered and 18 skipped. I’m using these interaction signals to understand how visitors respond, rather than relying only on pageviews.
