Your submission was removed for the following reason:

Rule 1: Posts must be humorous, and they must be humorous because they are programming related. There must be a joke or meme that requires programming knowledge, experience, or practice to be understood or relatable.

Here are some examples of frequent posts we get that don't satisfy this rule:

  • Memes about operating systems or shell commands (try /r/linuxmemes for Linux memes)
  • A ChatGPT screenshot that doesn't involve any programming
  • Google Chrome uses all my RAM

See here for more clarification on this rule.

If you disagree with this removal, you can appeal by sending us a modmail.

I like the idea of fucking with companies like Adobe (like they weren't discontinuing some of their products already), but for God sake, just cause ChatJippity can decompile paid, closed-source software like Adobe's products and Microsoft' Office Suite doesn't mean the shit is gonna work properly, or be maintainable at all.

Can we stop with the ads please? Does no one see how art craft is aggressively advertising on Reddit?

I was like let’s fork the project and fix it. But the license doesn’t allow it

Spewed out slop vs well-maintained enterprise software (which you can just pirate if you don't want to pay)

Artcraft is just pointless

From their post history it looks like this user is paid to promote this Ai slop company on reddit

can't believe pure AI slop that no one uses became this talked about. I guess throwing tokens away to create bad knockoffs is news worthy now

And as i said in many Linux discussions. We have better well established alternatives

I'm going to tell AI to fork one of the open source ones and then start claiming I used AI to make an alternative in one prompt

It’s a bunch of people who aren’t programmers and who are under-informed. They think that AI will just keep getting better to the point that they a better than good humans, and they also don’t know just how bad the projects actually are.

In 2019, my C++ professor said that AI would never be able to write code... and look at it now.

It's just too bad the artcraft apps are even more of a buggy mess than Adobe's
