Casual Convo (Any Topic) What’s a useful nugget of wisdom you’ve heard from an unlikely source?
I remember in high school, in the early 2000s, I watched a movie called “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning”. Basically a remake/prequel of the original one. Not a bad movie, but a product of its time, so not too deep. Anyway…
At one point early on, two brothers are talking about the Vietnam war. One of them has just returned from a tour over there, and is set to go back, this time taking the younger brother with him. At one point, after talking about the hardships over there, he tells him something to the tune of “you’d be amazed at what you can get used to”.
Looking back, I’ve always come back to this line. Anytime there has been a massive change or obstacle on horizon, especially if it seems to be a negative one. And each time, that sentiment has turned out to ring true.
I’m curious, what are other (valid) pieces of advice have you guys come across via odd or unlikely sources?

☕︎✔️Café Official What small change are you still doing 6 months later?
Let's skip the hacks that last a week.
What's one change — to your routine, your tools, your mindset, whatever — that you made at least 6 months ago and you're still doing today?
Could be big. Could be tiny. The only rule is it has to still be active. Not "I did this for a while." You're still doing it right now.

💬 Advice Needed Can wisdom teeth not cause pain ?
I went to oral surgeon and I explained how I've experience left side dizziness and unsteady balance and brain fog sythoms for a over a month now. And I even said I went to the ent doctor because I found out I had an ear infection and the eusthsnic tube is clogged. I even finished the medicine they had given like steroids and antibiotics. But the dentist keeps saying well it's not the tooth that is causing your dizziness but I told him when I chew on left side I feel dizzy. And I even said my eusthsnic tube isn't draining because of the tooth possibly. The dentist reviewed the X-ray and said the lower jaw is very close to the nerve which might cause this sythoms but also the upper wisdom tooth are close to the sinus. And I'm now being told to see ent again. But when I talked to ent doctor they said please see oral surgeon. Even my left side temple area feels tight. I just don't know what to do. I'm going back and forth with no sign of solution and relief. The dentist said we can remove all 4 wisdom teeth and hopefully your problems should be gone. And he said there is a possibility you can get numbness in the mouth because of the nerve.
