I love using Dreams 2. It is so much fun to use. It is a blast, unlike professional motion effects apps like After Effects and Cavalry (in my opinion). Maybe it's just me, but the more I use these other motion effects apps, the more I hate them. There is lot of cool things they can do, but I've been spoiled by Dreams. I just wish there was a motion effects app that were as easy and simple as Dreams. Any suggestions for vector style animating that is easy and actually fun to use?

Whenever I try to move or scale a part of the animation it also includes other layers as part of the entire thing. Is there a way to separate those parts during the process? Thanks in advance!

I created few different layers in one Drawing track and I want to move it to another Drawing track.

I tried copy-paste, cut and paste, move the layers (in the video). I’ve tried to flatten layers and move or copy too. Tried moving, copying to flipbook too but nothing happens.

Am I missing something? Is it glitching?

EDIT: What I did just duplicated the Drawing track multiple times and removed what I didn't need in each. Silly me, should have thought of it sooner.

I want to add an object I animated on multiple videos so I want to ask if there’s a way to just save the animation without a background so I could add it in vids with video editing apps? It’d be faster instead of having to draw the animation on each video

The reason I ask is because Procreate dreams is finicky in that you can’t hold down a stroke and automatically make it a straight line, which I believe is VERY helpful imo.

Hi, I want to upgrade my iPad for Procreate Dreams since my current one is ancient. Do you have any recommendations for something on a budget and what features to look out for? Would 4 GB ram and 256 gb of space work? Are there any other considerations I should take into account?

I’m experiencing an issue with Procreate Dreams since the most recent update. Before the update, my projects were exporting perfectly, including looping animations. Since updating the app, my exported videos have a noticeable lag/delay, even when the project is set to loop. This is also happening with older projects that previously exported correctly.

What’s confusing is that the projects play smoothly inside Procreate Dreams, but after exporting, the timing/sync becomes delayed.

for anyone wondering why I wanna do the cleanup animation in toonsquid specifinally it’s bc that has vector brushes which I prefer to use for cleanup since it won’t get all messed up when resized unlike raster brushes

I made this film for my first assignment in my animation class at Uni. Drew all the frames on Procreate Dreams before printing them on paper to animate them physically. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think
