Curly salon in Poznan warning
TLDR: don’t go to curly hair Euphoria in Poznan.
I was really excited to find a curly hair specialist as it had been years since I had had a simple dry cut.
Not only did they do some things shoddily.
They literally left a bunch of strands uncut.
They didn’t actually cut all of my hair.
Then they focussed on the shoddy things I brought up and avoided taking responsibility, claiming I was “disappointed” vs them not doing the job they were paid for.
Essentially, the meh stuff that I was just going to let go and live with were things like: it wasn’t a flattering hair cut, she cut it strangely (at the time I thought maybe it was a new approach but she didn’t do curl by curl), it was either searing hot or freezing cold water, she didn’t fully wash out the treatment, she put an unfathomable amount of mousse in my hair and insisted that my hair would bounce up to the length I asked for.
I paid for it thinking “it’s not great but I can live with it and maybe adjust, I just need to wash my hair and hopefully the hair will look better after that”…but when I got home and ran my hands through my hair, there were strands still remaining from the original length?! THAT was when I asked for a refund, which they refused only offering a goodwill gesture for the disappointment. They literally failed to do their job and they were evasive and knowing I can’t go to an ombudsman because I’m not in Poland, suggested I do that.
Honestly, don’t go here, it’s expensive and I’ve seen I’m not the only one in the Google reviews that had a bad experience (from other people who generally give good reviews).
