Try to follow the logic.
If group A votes for something negative for group A, then let group A face the consequences.
If group A votes for something negative for group B that has no ability to protect themselves from the consequences of group A’s vote, then real men protect group B from group A’s choices.
These two things are not the same.
In your scenario, protecting children would once again require rescinding women’s right to vote, which is the appropriate response for “real men”.
