Roasted little gems, St. Albert curds, st Hubert gravy - am I going to jail?

I scarfed this down in about 3 minutes and it was so delicious, that the stomach ache I had afterwards was completely worth it.

Poutine has three base elements and they whiffed on all three. There’s not even gravy! These sound like tasty cheese fries, though.

This is probably the sub my Canadian friend suggested.

Home made fat stubby short fries.

Gravy from ribeye fat and flour ( light amount under all the cheese. )

Generic pre shredded cheese.

1 strip of bacon ground into dust.

Lots of chives.

I am also American, so I ask for forgiveness.

Costco poooutine is so good but where is the gravy and cheese has to MELTED

Gravy for Days 😋😄

Honestly was pretty yummy. Needed salt funny enough. Fries were crispy and even the submerged ones werent soggy. I now know why you guys are so up in arms about curds being not only traditional, but also essential. Wish i went classic over the steak though

This was from a few years ago, was just reminded of it after I saw an actual good looking Harvey's poutine posted on r/poutine.

No this isn't half eaten, this is what I genuinely saw when I opened the box, undercooked fries, a handful of cold shredded cheese and spoonful of gravy. Have not been back since.

What y’all think?

Had a hard time finding any cheese or gravy in this one

I feel like this picture of Canadian cuisine from Disney World fits this sub.

The fries were dry and luke warm, almost the consistency of McCain frozen bagged fries thrown into a steamed serving tray...they dished out for real cheese curds, but then cheaped out so much on gravy portioning that the fries remained mostly dry. As you can see above the gravy barely wet my spud sticks.

Served with schnitzel (that was alright)

With curds and chicken strips
