Welcome to the Republican Party.

Whatever they claim to be fighting against (corruption, gay rights, the decay of family values, etc., etc., etc.), they are doing and they're doing it worse than whomever it is they're accusing of doing it.

RJ May, founder of Freedom Focus. Fought for strict anti-abortion laws (including giving the death penalty to doctors who gave assisted in abortions and to the mothers who had one). All in the name of protecting children. Found to have and to be distributing child pornography.

Larry Craig, staunch conservative GOP politician with a consistent record of voting against anything to do with gay rights, caught in a sting operation for solliticiting gay sex services in an airport bathroom. Used campaign funds to finance his legal defense.

Scott Desjarlais didn't just consistently vote to restrict and ban abortion rights and access wherever possible. he championed nonsense legalistions such as Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which as a physician he would be in a good position to know is BS. Of course, he voted for legislation to defund Planned Parenthood and any health providers giving abortion assistance to women. He also pressured his ex-wife into having not one but two abortions, as well as pressure a patient he was having an affair with into having one as well.

The list goes on. If a Republican opposes something, chances are he's doing it.

So, as a party, if they think one guy is financing all the things they don't like in the world, you don't think they're gonna work double over time to find their own backer? Especially since there's only one Koch brother still alive, I believe.
