I watched it happen to him twice in elections I was passionate about, I'm not a Republican but I am also no longer a Democrat.

Defeatist bs. This is a 2 party system. You pick the party that's going to get you closest to where you want to be, and try to get them to improve. Anything else is just aiding the opposition.

No, actually, I'm not obligated to do that at all, and what you're describing is an obscene twisting of democracy.

Nobody owes their vote to any candidate or any party, and it's the candidates' and parties' jobs to appeal to the voter and earn their vote.

A vote is a choice.

If Democrats started winning every election, you'd quickly see a split within the Democrat party further to the left. You'd see the Republican party go up in flames.

I don't know how you can deny that logic.

Always vote Democrat. There's no excuse not to.
