Trump said if we voted for Harris we'd get more wars and higher prices. And he was right. I voted for Harris and that's exactly what I got.

22

u/Edub89556 16h ago

Everything he says that someone else is gonna do is exactly what he’s planning to do but will blame it on somebody else

6

u/Dense-Law-7683 15h ago

I know people have said projection as a joke for the last 10 years, but they really do project everything to the point that once you got over how fucking dumb and cruel some of the shit they were doing, it was so predictable.

18

u/_yetisis 16h ago

One of the main pillars of his campaign was that the democrats were gearing up to start an unprovoked war with Iran and that we needed to vote for Trump to avoid another quagmire in the Middle East.

And that’s how we all knew Trump was planning on invading Iran as soon as he took office.

Never forget

39

u/Sweet-Strawberrry 16h ago

And this is exactly why the "release the files" protest keeps happening at his own rallies now. They want us to forget this picture ever existed.

39

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 16h ago

She wasn't the greatest candidate but please explain to me how great things are right now without going full blown racist.

15

u/Smart-Firefighter87 16h ago

That’s the only argument that Americans have though…. Oh and she’s a woman….

7

u/thisisredlitre 15h ago

Dont forget not liking her laugh

7

u/Vorpalthefox 15h ago

i dislike this "she was a woman" excuse, if not for the electoral college in 2016, it would have been "Madam President Clinton", she had won the popular vote vs trump

Kamala Harris also still polls incredibly well despite how many trolls claim otherwise

she remains consistently at the very top of polls against other potential presidential candidates, it was election interference and disinformation that heavily impacted her becoming president

You nailed it..

2

u/MamasCupcakes 15h ago

The racism narrative was forced. Why was her indian heritage never brought up? They only want to run on black. Racism should have ended with Obama, but they couldnt have that happen. Had to double down on the race hustle to keep people angry

5

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 15h ago

The racism was amped up when Obama was elected. I learned a lot of how horrible people in this country can be.

6

u/Dense-Law-7683 14h ago

The number 1 thing I hear from conservatives about the Obama Era is that he caused some great divide in our country. When asked how he created this division, nobody can answer it, and I'm guessing it's because they don't want to come right out and tell me that it was because they didn't like his skin color after not immediately agreeing with them.

3

u/msguider 14h ago

Obama winning is what broke their minds, I believe.

1

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 13h ago

Everytime there is a democrat president they claim democrats have to unite the nation. Yet they call themsives Americans and I say I live in the United States. United being the key word.

1

u/FlipperBumperKickout 16h ago

On one hand we would have the status queue which was only bad.

On the other hand that would mean the MAGA movement would have no responsibilities to prove that it could run a country, and instead would have been completely free to grow and fester, and might actually have gotten some competent leaders.

Unless Kamala actually had fixed a lot of the issues which already were there, I don't thing Kamala winning would actually prevent a fascist uprising sooner or later... just like electing Biden didn't.

9

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 15h ago

Democrats are never in charge long enough to make a lasting impact. And this time it will take decades to undo what the pedophile has done.

2

u/Dense-Law-7683 14h ago

I still can't believe the impatience with Biden and the economy. We had Bush absolutely devastate the economy and it took several years to get shit back on track. I have no clue why people wouldn't expect the same after covid? I can say though, people have shit memory. Apparently, MAGA forgot we had Trump number 1 who didn't do healthcare, infrastructure, or really anything. He botched Covid and caused a lot of the inflation, but all I hear about is Biden's inflation. Trump couldn't even keep the most perfect and beautiful economy going strong, it was starting to trend downwards like it always does when Republicans are in office before Covid even hit.

1

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 13h ago

They forget about covid and the fact they complained about mask mandates and vaccines. Trump botched the response. Which would be understandable if he took responsibilty for anything he screws up.

0

u/FlipperBumperKickout 15h ago

Mamdani has by now shown how quickly you can make improvements if you really want to.

Yes they have, the problem is just that a lot of democrats aren't progressive, or even necessarily against everything that is happening right now. A shocking amount of them fully supports what ICE is doing...

1

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 15h ago

We had a DSA candidate here in Wisconsin but the voters wanted an establishment dem. The change is there but the people aren't. I don't know any dems that back ICE. Deporting criminals yes.

0

u/mobydog 15h ago

And they also don't take bold enough action to make a lasting difference, because unlike FDR they are beholden to their donors first, not the broke 99%.

2

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 15h ago

How do you completely fix a nation after republicans screw everything up? If you want change then vote properly. We have pretty much lost all of our allies. That may be impossible to fix.

0

u/DoberNation 15h ago

Interesting thought experiment

Vietnam was almost entirely Kennedy and Johnson.  If you want to get technical, it was Truman.  All 3 Democrats.  Korea was also Truman.

1

u/msguider 14h ago

Kennedy didn't start the war in Vietnam. The French started fighting, then the US got involved. That one's more complicated.

2

u/KamalaBracelet 13h ago

Truman sent advisors.  Kennedy expanded the role and number of “advisors” to 16,000.  Johnson took over the war and expanded the troop count to 500,000.  It is complicated, but it is impossible to hang “starting the war” on Republicans no matter how you spin it.

1

u/msguider 13h ago

True, it was bipartisan. Both 'sides' had their reasons, I guess.

1

u/KamalaBracelet 13h ago edited 13h ago

Better reason than all these persian wars for sure.  Regardless of climate change we should be spending every penny we can on solar so that we have the ability to tell the entire middle east to fuck off, we don’t want to be involved.

1

u/msguider 11h ago

I like solar. It's odd we just abandoned it pretty much. I always wanted to drive a solar car.

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 13h ago

You are correct. I have removed my comment.

5

Oh I’m saving this one. I know just where to put it!

11

u/Dragon_wryter 16h ago

4

u/scottprian 15h ago

If i was president I would stop this war In 24 hours.

6

u/RedundantBiomass 15h ago

Yup, please dont run for president again.

4

u/Financial_Molasses67 15h ago

She is so ready to completely bomb another campaign

5

u/QuietMan420 15h ago

Can we get someone who can win an election that isn't 100% aligned with the goals of the establishment?

4

u/Critical_Mousse_6416 15h ago

I wish we could get back to a point in US politics where someone like Kamala could be considered a bad dem candidate and choosing not to vote for someone like her wouldn't cause a complete collapse of our country.

trump has ruined US politics for for the foreseeable future.

3

u/sandonskin 14h ago
  1. She’s not wrong
  2. I like her
  3. Please don’t run… she can’t win

1

u/Specialist-Garbage94 13h ago

Found Doug's burner. She wouldn't be able to make it out of the primaries.

2

u/Extreme_Mark_3354 11h ago

Her supporters will be more likely to vote if she is enthusiastically supporting another candidate. I expect every primary debate to end in a big group hug.

7

u/helpprogram2 16h ago

I want a candidate that won’t start campaigning with conservatives because leftists positions are too scary

5

u/Dependent_Amount6825 16h ago

Yup. We must never forget how terrified she was to talk about the genocide in Israel. She wouldn’t have fucked up the world like Trump is, but when are we going to get someone that actually represents us?

→ More replies (2)

0

u/FlipperBumperKickout 15h ago

That's what the democrat primaries are for. We actually got a couple for the midterms.

0

u/Ozymandeas95 13h ago

But it’s okay to hold conferences with fascists though huh?

3

u/DG_FANATIC 16h ago

I swear they’re trying to lose. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

3

u/Imaginary_Resist_654 14h ago

Please go away. We need something else to get rid of Trump and his cronies

2

u/mobydog 15h ago

Bo. Ring. Don't tell us what you're gonna do about it, bc your billionaire donors won't let you say "tax the billionaires".

2

u/OilComprehensive6237 15h ago

America fucked up and chose poorly in 2024

2

u/FreshLuck9739 14h ago

Things are bad now. But she is not a good candidate, mediocre at best. We need a someone else to run.

2

u/wilekoyoty 16h ago

Oh shes alive

5

u/DrButtgerms 15h ago

If DNC tries to run her again, we are cooked. Idk where she has been for the past nearly 2 years, but she has me convinced that she is completely spineless

0

u/Ok_Satisfaction3460 15h ago

What were you expecting her to do exactly? She's not exactly popular so Kamala isn't really a person anybody was going to rally behind.

2

u/Leowolf513 16h ago

You literally could have stopped this all by at leasting challenging the election results, but you immediately conceded. Fuck off

2

u/Ok_Satisfaction3460 15h ago

What was she going to challenge them on? Personally I suspect massive fraud but without proof not much can be done really.

2

u/Leowolf513 15h ago

At least request a recount! Who knows what could been found if someone had just tried.

1

u/CalligrapherDizzy201 14h ago

*by running a far better campaign. FTFY.

The USA has Lost less than a hundred lives fighting a rĂŠgime that cures liberalism ie gay rights, feminism diversity of thought and coexistence with executions. Do You honestly believe a woman Married to a Jewish man would seek to destroy Israel like most contemporary Liberals? When Biden backed Israel You cheered him on. This war Is all about Power. Either the USA wins or learn to speak MandarĂn.

1

u/theonewhokn0cks100 15h ago

I love seeing people think Dems are truly and diff than the reps, both parties have and will continue to slowly kill this nation. While the majority of the population spend their time on line saying how the other side is the real evil of the country.

1

u/theewall2000 15h ago

She lost the POPULAR vote to Trump. Let that sink in. No way she has a change anymore.

I've had to prioritize money for gas and groceries since 2022. Just seems like it gets a little worse every year and I have to work a little more to make ends meet. I now work weekends too.

1

u/BlutoS7 14h ago

Switch some names of things and im pretty sure this has been said every election cycle.

1

u/notsure304wv 14h ago

I hope they don’t think they can run her as president again. I’d really like a Democrat to win…

1

u/BakingAndBeingBaked 13h ago

I’m sorry but we don’t need Kamala Harris in the White House. Honestly we need another Obama. Or someone like Mamdani who actually cares about the people.

1

u/Minimum-Actuator-953 13h ago

MAGA counterpoint: Okay, but you have a vagina.

1

u/ZeroVoltsGiven 13h ago

On the plus side Trump won’t be able to be elected on his third term.

1

u/Ok-Combination3108 13h ago

Hahahahhahaha Kamala is brain dead!! Just like the rest of the US government

1

u/Sea_Still_4068 13h ago

Did she forget to mention tariff?

1

u/mi04se1 13h ago

I believe prices were higher under Biden

1

u/S0l-Surf3r 13h ago

Shit's been expensive since she was in office, Trump just made it worse.

1

u/BarbedCamera420 four tea bags at a time 🫨 13h ago

kamala lost because she was a dogshit candidate with no convictions besides her fealty to israel and her hate for the muslim world. blaming trumps victory on people who didnt vote for her is effectively victim-blaming. im glad her hindsight is 20/20 but she would have gone to war with iran as well, clearly: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/08/harris-iran-greatest-adversary-trump-election.html

1

u/Suspicious_Trash6578 12h ago

The root cause is lack of Refineries due to blue state policies; do some research.

1

u/Paulisaperson4130 11h ago

She’s the reason everything is high because of why they put in place when they ran things.

1

u/Brief_Bullfrog_6285 11h ago

Do you all not remember when grocery prices started going up like crazy amounts when she was VP???? I know i sure do! And then waited untill right before the election to start talking about doing something about it......save your words Kamala...you are no different! Wake up people...they all are in it together

1

u/Dependent_Amount6825 16h ago

“And they are ready to stop him.”

Were we not ready years ago? Are democrats going to do anything or is an epic tweet the best we got?

1

u/Electronic-Funny-475 16h ago

1

u/CalligrapherDizzy201 14h ago

What is epic about it?

1

u/Fishtoart 16h ago

Just be quiet. You lost to a demented orange baboon .
Get over it.

1

u/Good_Warning4576 16h ago

People are ALSO tired of this game of incompetent government (Republican) and incompetent government (Democrat).

We need more voices. We need to make sure that incompetent politicians of BOTH parties (and these are the MAJORITY in both) are removed from power.

3

u/UnderfootArya34 15h ago

Absolutely. Tear the whole thing out from the roots and start over if needed.

1

u/WeaknessNaive8784 15h ago

And you tried to stop it? How so?

2

u/thisisredlitre 15h ago

There was that whole election where America could have chosen her to be president

0

u/pridefull_Dinlas 15h ago

And she was dumb as fuck, she couldn't form a single sentance

2

u/thisisredlitre 15h ago

But you think Donald trump did? 👀 examples please

0

u/pridefull_Dinlas 15h ago

Tbh when I was looking at their debate he was the better speaker.

1

u/thisisredlitre 13h ago

Maybe if good = loud. I'll take a slow stutter over a spastic twitch

1

u/pridefull_Dinlas 13h ago

I do agree with you. I do not think that Trump was a better candidate but the dems really did not think well with Kamala.

1

u/thisisredlitre 13h ago

I disagree that one party is responsible for people staying at home. People are responsible for staying at home. Not being happy because someone isnt perfect enough for you(using royal you+ here not you specifically) is no excuse to allow fascism by way of your apathy.

1

u/pridefull_Dinlas 13h ago

I agree. I really pray that the republicans are finished

1

u/Dorrono 15h ago

Trump is an absolute idiot but she still managed to lose against him so badly that even states which usually vote for democrats preferred to vote for trump instead for her.

1

u/Silver-Link8247 14h ago

She needs to go away. She does nothing to inspire anyone. If anything, she makes people want to vote republican. It’s sad but true.

-3

u/Ketchupcharger 16h ago

Yeah sure, I agree, but can you go back to your freezer? We need an actual candidate

1

u/Dependent_Amount6825 16h ago

People are downvoting because they think this is MAGA sentiment, but democrats have consistently failed us by making great posture on things we care about and then calling it a hard days work

1

u/AWorldwithoutSin 15h ago

Something like 16 other candidates got more support in the 2020 primaries, what could go wrong?

0

u/SbstlStereotype 15h ago

Kamala needs to shut the fuck up and go home. No one gives a fuck what she says.

3

u/Vorpalthefox 15h ago

she consistently polls higher than any other presidential candidate, our adversaries do not want us having a competent leader that could have dealt with russia's genocide and the israel-hamas war, there was a 3-phase plan endorsed heavily by the United Nations Security Council that Biden initiated just before he left office, the next president would have been able to enforce it and get the 3-phase end of the war through

1

u/coreyjdl 14h ago

in real life, she lost.

1

u/Youraverageaccccount 15h ago

8 days active. Calm down fake boomer

2

u/naturdayspeedrun 15h ago

It seems that the Russian bots are back.

-2

u/rygelicus 16h ago

I like Kamala, I think she would have been vastly superior than Trump this term. But this is one reason I think she lost. Her rallies, her speeches, gave the impression that her opposition was already defeated, that she had the election in the bag, which allowed some people to be less motivated to get out and vote.

13

u/OhioVsEverything 16h ago

That's, not why she lost.

-2

u/rygelicus 16h ago

It contributed.

2

u/DoberNation 15h ago

The campaign managers are responsible for promoting that posture. It was tailored to Biden’s campaign and demeanor, not hers.

17

u/Mr_R0mpers Pinkie Finger Extended 16h ago

She lost because Americans would rather vote for a fat, evil, pedo narcissist than a woman.

6

u/ClickclickClever 16h ago

Don't forget racist. The racism was/is doing a lot of work for the Republican party. Even today so many no brainer races again corrupt rapist pedophile protectors are neck and neck because racism is that strong of a motivator for Republicans.

3

u/ResponsibleRich 16h ago

A Black/Indian woman at that.

5

u/Maximum-Elk8869 16h ago

You are absolutely correct and the American electorate had an opportunity to make it right after 2016 but didn't. 2024 convinced me that a woman will never be elected president of the United States at least in my lifetime.

7

u/Mr_R0mpers Pinkie Finger Extended 16h ago

They would rather elect the most incompetent man than a competent woman. It’s disappointing as hell.

0

u/Ok_Satisfaction3460 15h ago

Make it right? Hillary through that election with her arrogant assumption everyone would just fall in line.

0

u/mobydog 15h ago

Democrats would love you to think that the reason she lost was gender/race/identity. Not that she was another machine politician with nibble around the edges ideas that didn't differentiate her enough from Biden.

0

u/Ok_Satisfaction3460 15h ago

Her gender and race definitely didn't help Kamala but you're not wrong about her other glaring weaknesses.

1

u/Rose0367 15h ago edited 15h ago

Roughly 1/3 voted for him, 1/3 voted for her and 1/3 couldn’t be interested enough to vote, and likely still won’t. It might be apathy or… people who are actually full time scrambling to manage the uphill battle of just getting by, with a conviction no one in politics is any different than the other.

-3

u/Spec1990 15h ago

And she was an active member of an administration facilitating a genocide. I voted for her, but I'd never do it again. I'm done with harm reduction votes.

-3

u/BeaucRumcake 16h ago

She needs to crawl back under a rock.

Worst Presidential candidate in American history. She is to blame for this.

6

0

u/Creative_School_1550 15h ago

In the '24 campaign, I heard her say "Rah, rah, Us! They're bad! We're not them!" What I didn't hear beyond promising targeted little goodies to select interest groups, was that we needed a big change to e.g. get money out of politics, reform the court, rein in big monopolies. In other words, calls to specific actions that would drain the swamp. So I certainly voted for her but I didn't have much enthusiasm.

Because she is a corporate shill and always has been.

What a nincompoop. Do people in this venue realize we all know their goal was to eliminate fossil fuels by increasing cost so people would buy environmentally horrible electric cars? Do they also realize that we know the cost of groceries exploded under Biden's disasterous screwing up the economy?

0

u/Specific_Freedom9644 15h ago

Kamela is arguably the most incompetent politician in US history, so anything that comes out of her mouth, likely the opposite is true

0

u/Rare-Pressure-7416 15h ago

Gas is around the same it has been for the last 15 years give or take 50 cents either way we been struggling if everyone on both sides would stop bitching and actually work together for once we be ok. Don't worry Democrats it will be y'all's turn again to fuck everything up let the Republicans have there turn fucking it up. None of y'all feel the affects of any of y'all's bullshit. We the people take the fucking from both sides so shut the fuck up no politician worries about gas prices or food prices.

0

u/coreyjdl 14h ago

Gas was higher under Biden, and adjusted for inflation, even higher under Obama.

Grocery inflation by presidential administration, 2001–2026

Using the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Food at Home CPI, here's how grocery prices changed during each administration, compared with overall inflation.

Administration Grocery price increase Overall inflation Grocery inflation relative to overall inflation

Not sure if not living in reality is hurting the Dems more, or their genocide supporting loser candidates popping up all the time to say some stupid bullshit.

Keep defending pedophiles like Trump, its a good look for you.

Gas was higher because of the recovery from Covid, which Trump also fucked up the beginning to btw. Gas is this high now because Trump is a pedophile and needed a distraction from the Trump-Epstein files

Eat shit

She’s been reeeaaaalll quiet during the Trump administration. Anyone want to guess why? Because she (and the rest of the dems) are totally complicit. But they know that they can placate their constituents by using a few catch words and throwing out a tweet here and there. All while doing nothing real to address what’s going on.

u/Buddhas_Warrior 12h ago

So your upset with the party whose not in charge?

0

u/WC_Flyer 12h ago

I’m upset with all of them. And you should be too. They are all doing the same things, apart from a little verbal pandering to their specific constituents.

2

u/Buddhas_Warrior 11h ago

So the party in charge who are actively destroying our democracy.... You say nothing about. But, telling me I should be upset at the party NOT doing that simply because you feel they haven't said enough? You need to rebalance your priorities.

u/WC_Flyer 11h ago

That’s not at all what I said. Do you speak and read English? Or are you just being deliberately obtuse? Serious question.

2

u/Buddhas_Warrior 11h ago

Please, do insults me, that's a way to win the argument. And that's EXACTLY what you are saying.

0

u/WC_Flyer 11h ago

Ok, then explain to me how me saying “I’m upset with all of them” equals me saying “nothing” about the party in charge?

I don’t need to insult you, you are doing a fine job of looking foolish without anyone else’s help.
