I think people are being a little hard on her. She may have flunked the reading/memorization part of the Miss Press Secretary contest but she obviously won the bathing suit portion 😍

Her voice isn’t grating. She just needs to fix her posture, square her shoulders and look a little more confident. Of course, the crap she spews will always be crap…so there is that. At this point I tune out the propaganda. I feel sorry for her. She is obviously in over her head.

I don’t get the hate. I think she delivered the message she was supposed to just fine.

It’s her first day on a job in front of a huge audience. I’m sure she’ll get more comfortable and smooth as time goes on.

Although all of this is secondary to just delivering the proper information. Not everyone needs to a charismatic stage performer to do their job.

That is correct. However, I think that it of a definitive part of the White House Press Secretary job. Confidence, charisma, and personality as the public face of our government is a huge bonus. If your job could be replaced by a mass email to the news corporations (I know, I’m using hyperbole) you need to bring a value add to the position.
