The fucking ad was literally just a play on her perceived attractiveness. But ofc terminally online people with nothing better to do managed to find some way to get angry about it, lol.
I've literally heard people use "they have good genes" when talking about someone attractive.
It literally took me a while to figure out what the issue was, because I literally immediately associated it with her being attractive. Had to see a dumbass Twitter post to finally understand what stupid shit people were angry about.
The entire controversy is because she has blonde hair & blue eyes. That's it. That's all it is.
I guess she was supposed to dye her hair & wear contacts that change her eye color before making a fucking ad that is a play on words. Cause oh no the losers on the internet who are mad at everything will get mad.
I’ve asked for evidence on this topic and only received conjecture that her family is conservative. Can you provide evidence of her acting in a racist fashion? Any video clips? Or is being an attractive young white girl enough evidence?
Welp, writing it or not is irrelevant. My understanding is that was seen as a pretty obvious play on words…a nod to the original if you will (jeans/genes) People took her accepting the part as at least not having an issue with the message. And the fact I’m aware of all of that nonsense gives me a sad.

I feel like there's some group of people that REALLY want to sell me on Sydney Sweeney, and I just don't see any real appeal.
