Hi guys, my puppy is around 4-5 months now

For the past month I have noticed that there is a patch of darker, more rough, but straight and not very puffy hair growing. It started small and now it is growing (the 2 last photo was from 4th Oct).

I just wanna ask if its normal for a Pom? Is it his guard hair or what, cause the texture is different. I have been looking at pom videos but have not seen any with this sign. If its normal, would it be likely that his future color will be that, I love his current creamy shade 🥺🥺

Plus he is already 2kg5, 26cm tall, is it good?

I lost my two best boys, Misha and Loki, this summer, and my home just hasn’t been the same without my Poms. I’m starting to look for another little guy to join my family, and I’m hoping this group might be able to point me in the right direction!
I’m specifically looking for a **larger, throwback-type Pomeranian**. I love the sturdier, bigger-boned Poms with a bit more substance, rather than the tiny, delicate type. Ideally, I’m looking for a boy with that classic Pom personality: bold, mischievous, curious, opinionated, and full of character!
I’m open to a puppy or an adult, and I’m happy to consider reputable breeders, rehoming situations, or other leads. I’m located in the Phoenix/Chandler, Arizona area, but I’m open to looking farther afield for the right fit.
I know no dog will ever replace Misha and Loki, but I have a lot of love left to give another little Pom. If you know of a breeder who specializes in larger Poms, or have any leads on one looking for a home, I’d really appreciate the recommendations.

She’s been with me for 17 years. In that time I got a degree, changed careers, moved 8 times, had two relationships, parted with two other dogs, gained and lost 60lbs, got my purple belt in jiujitsu, and so so much more. She's been my rock and the best dog I've ever had. I'll miss her so much

Say a prayer for my baby, she’s going in for heart surgery next week ❤️‍🩹

My little girl has a PDA heart defect and she needs surgery asap to correct it. She’s coming up on 18 weeks, still just a baby! I never imagined we’d be dealing with this and it’s been a roller coaster over the last 10 weeks since we picked her up. We purchased her from a breeder and had no idea she had a serious heart murmur, which was detected during a vax visit. Multiple appointments - and $$$ - later (vet, cardiologist, surgeon) and we have a diagnosis and surgery date next week. This condition has a 1 year or less life expectancy but thankfully is 100% curable with surgery.

If anyone has any experience with PDA I’d love to hear! Positive stories only please since my anxiety is through the roof. I’d do anything to give this perfect girl the best life, but I could use some encouraging words. Thanks Pom fam 🥹🤍
