I recall reading a fic where Celine keeps Rumi as a training dummy, dehumanizing her and making her wear a shock collar for Zoey and Mira, and their first real interaction is where they complain that Celine wont teach them any cool moves, and she slides a book across the training room floor has martial arts moves in it, and they read it but dont quite get it, so later behind Celine's back Rumi teaches them how to do a cool takedown move. Later in the fanfic Zoey and Mira take off as Idols and move out of Celines house, and Rumi assumes they will leave her, but they obviosuly bring her with them.

I also remember their being some scene where they were all cooking something that bursts into flames, and Rumi picks up the cookie tin and takes it outside, but her burns heal really fast

I also recall it having a tag something like "(Non Sexual) Shock Collar" or something similar to that

EDIT: I found it immediately after posting dispite having alread been looking for it for days, it is called Glowing Patterns (Growing Pains)

In the last few days I have seen an influx of posts that ask for fics where Celine is treating Rumi like a monster, an animal, or a training dummy and is altogether awful, so I want to balance the scales a little.

Can you please recommend some fics where Celine loves Rumi and she doesn't ask her to hide her patterns, or if she does, she then works very hard to deserve Rumi's forgiveness and rebuild the relationship between them.

I will start with my favorites:

These Demons Saved My Life by Comicgeek20

In the fic rumi is seen as this weird demon that trains with them, shes stuck in the gym via electric collar (?), shes doesn’t talk to zoey or mira atall

One day mira and zoey sneak into rumi’s place to get some extra training in, then rumi talks to them for the first time, zoey and mira exclaim that they didn’t know she could talk where in rumi says “this is almost more insulting than the time you thought i couldn’t read…” as they talk to each other like she isn’t there.

They ask her about the training books theyve seen her read and rumi agrees to teach them more by showing them a pining move, starting with the line “please don’t stab me im not going to hurt you im just teaching you”

They then keep sneaking in and at one point leave her a special blanket of zoey’s to sleep .

Celine catches them and something something moving away with her and looking at apartments etc etc

Its really good

Any similar fics would be greatly appreciated!

🙏🙏🙏

Glowing Patterns (Growing Pains)

Hoping to get Chapter 10 out this weekend.

Like Rumi is in her bed and mira and zoey well come to well "comfort her"

I had a thought of a fic where Rumi was a late edition and the other here know she is half-demon, and they aim for golden honmoon but don’t tell her they think it would kill her? I think it would be interesting for more fics where the other three use / are bad to Rumi.

Is there anything like this? Thank you!

Edit: thank you for all these recommendations I’ll check them out!!!

There’s this fic i read a while ago that had rumi being so happy her girls loved her to, so when mira called her to open the door to her room she does so only to be impaled through the stomach by mira’s gok-do effectively pinning her to the wall of their hallway

And when rumi asks why Zoey and mira tell her they couldn’t believe she’d actually thought theyd let a demon like her live and theyd been bidding their time till they could kill her

She dies at the end

The author mentioned something about a dream but it might have been that it wasn’t a dream and to wait for the next chapter

Its a 2 chapter fic with one chapter written when i was reading it

Any help much appreciated!

(Reposting here for visibility! If anyone knows her, please send this to her! Thank you!)

Dear, Blue_Element_Widow95

Hello! 👋🏾 Actually coming from Patterns of Desires, as well as Holding On (To You) and Crawling Back (To You). Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and amazing polytrix stories, and BOTH were written so fucking well and GOD it meant so so much to me! Crawling Back (To You) is especially close to my heart.

I guess I'm trying to ask if you could please, please, PLEASE repost those stories? By any chance?? I was HEARTBROKEN when I saw you removed them. And FUCK whatever malice driven, cruel assholes talked negative on your creativity. Let it shine bright as bold and beautiful!! 🥹✨🌞

When the fic is all I think about and I keep adding to the tags, this fic is going to be long

I need a fanfic where Rumi or Mira are still idols/models and they are both/or one sugar mommys to Zoey, she can be anything like a college student, or streamer, but either all three or just two of them get together in the end!

hey if anyone has a saved copy of there work can you leave a link

Hey I just wanted to see if anybody has any recs where one of the girls is late on the scene and struggles because she’s behind (could be like struggling with summoning or training or maybe the other two already are dating when she arrives or just like don’t like the new girl) or if anybody has any where one of the girls is like insanely jealous of the other twos relationship but doesn’t wanna make it awkward by saying so. Thank you so much in advance.

The pattern reveal arc starts with Chapter 9!

I'm looking for some fics where Zoey and mira help rumi come to appreciate her demon traits, maybe just the patterns, maybe horns, tail, etc, could be spice or not, could be one shots or long af. Thanks!

https://archiveofourown.org/works/89061121/chapters/251890906 I had a lot of fun writing this one, and I'm excited to share it with you all <3

So, I recently wrote my first proper Polytrix one-shot, and mostly like how it turned out. However, with even less than 2k words, I noticed something: it was extremely unbalanced in the sense that Zoey was barely in it. She complimented Rumi a few times, but the main focus of the one-shot was on Rumi and Mira as Zoey did her own thing.

And thinking about it, most Polytrix ideas/scenarios I have or have written (platonically) involve Mira and Rumi together having tough or intense conversations. Or even just…normal or flirty conversations. But Zoey is often largely absent from their meaningful scenes, or when she is there, she’s praising or comforting Rumi with Mira or other characters. Nothing really feels uniquely her.

I think that part of this may be because I find Zoey the least interesting of the three women. I don’t hate her, I just don’t really ever have an interest in writing from her POV.

All that is to say: does anyone have advice for balancing interactions and the like between the three, specifically to include Zoey without making her seem OOC? (Cause like, having hard conversations isn’t her thing, really.)

I just want to say how bloody brilliant Princington's Finderskeepersau is.... like the art, the story, the consistency... it's just chef's kiss amazing and if you haven't checked them out on Insta do it. I think it might be on AO3 too but not sure...

I'm thinking of doing Mira as Mistral and Zoey as Monsoon next.

This is more Rumira than polytrix, but I digress.

Trainee era Rumira who hate each other. Mira thinks Rumi is a perfect princess who can never do anything wrong, and her prissiness drives Mira insane. Rumi hates how uptight, blunt, and passive aggressive Mira is towards her.

That all changes one night.

It’s around midnight when Rumi goes to get a glass of water. It’s mostly quiet, until she hears whimpering. She thinks it’s coming from Zoey’s room, so she checks. But the maknae is completely passed out, with no signs of distress.

Shockingly, the whimpering and whining is coming from Mira’s room.

Rumi slowly pushes the door open, and is slightly bewildered at the sight in front of her.

Mira is squirming in her sleep, brow furrowed, eyes clenched shut, soft noises of distress falling from her lips.

Rumi can vaguely hear her saying “Won’t do it again.” and “Please don’t hurt me.”

Rumi isn’t sure what to do. Does she interfere? Does she let Mira sleep? Sure she isn’t Mira’s biggest fan, but she doesn’t want the dancer to be so visibly in distress.

Mira suddenly grows worse. Thrashing much harder, to a point where she could potentially hurt herself.

Rumi makes the decision then. She sits on Mira’s bed, gently shaking her and trying to coax her awake. She’s fully sobbing in her sleep now, begging and pleading for it to stop.

Rumi shouting her name is the only thing that wakes her up.

She jolts awake with a gasp, flailing wildly as she tries to figure out where she is.

“Hey, hey. It’s me. It’s Rumi. You’re safe.” Rumi murmurs, placing her hands on Mira’s arms. “It was just a nightmare.”

Mira is still reeling from the nightmare, and seeing Rumi be so comforting with her is even more shocking.

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to wake you.” Mira’s walls are climbing back up. Rumi shakes her head. “Don’t be, it happens to everyone. And you didn’t wake me, I was just getting water and heard you.”

“I’ll uh…let you get some rest. I’m down the hall if you need anytning.” Rumi stands up, leaving the room.

“Rumi?”

“Yeah?”

“Thank you.”

“Of course.”

After that night, something shifted between Rumi and Mira, and they silently promised to themselves to always have each other’s backs.

No supernatural aspects at all.

I am looking for Polytrix smut stories (18+, NO TRANS Mira/rumi/zoey. No girl penis)
