One of my favorites from Churchill
It's far away, but you can see the folks on the boat on the left looking at a bear on land (not visible in this shot). But what's that to the far right?

If you were planning a trip to Churchill for the bears in 2027, would you choose October or November and why? With all the global warning, is late November better (ice may form later)?
Curious if anyone is headed there now as I write :)

Churchill, Manitoba. Usually my wildlife photos are taken with a telephoto lens, but this was with my iPhone!

I am so outraged. I feel like this is mandatory viewing, but if you cannot bear (hehe) to see it. Basically the WWF supports the continued trade industry that slaughters Polar Bears and other species bringing them to the edge of extinction. Also the traders go after the strongest Polar Bears whichs means we are stunting the evolutionary process as weaker polar bears are able to mate which can be detrimental with climate change.
Moreover the north atlantic countries such as Canada, Norway etc are backing these exploitative industrys. Absolutely shameful.

Hello! Has anyone here worked as a polar bear bio in Nunavut? Particularly with the GN?
I'm looking for advice! The good, the bad, and the ugly.
TIA!

Hi everyone. I shot this footage in Svalbard, Norway and thought other Polar Bear fans might want to check it out.
It was an absolutely breathtaking experience being able to get so close to these bears feasting on this whale.
If you have any questions about it let me know.
Mods please remove if I haven't met your guidelines properly. I think I've met the criteria, but I'm new to this.
Enjoy

I have seen in several places that the prime time to go to Churchill to see these beautiful bears is mid-October to mid-November.
Would going in late November be too late? Would we end up not seeing many polar bears?

Got this polar bear tracker as a gift and is curious if polar bears really move around like that

This is concerning as many of these fake A I videos focus on humans saving or petting polar bears (!!) I believe these should atleast come with a tag or warning that this is not a real photo/video and humans must avoid interaction with polar bears as much as possible..
