96 bbs effective. NL 30 (.15 .30 blinds)

In the CO with Q9 diamonds. Didn't notice LJ limped so open to 2.3 bbs.

BTN 3 bets to 8.60 bbs. SB and LJ call the 3 bet. Im getting a good price so I call.

Pot is 35.40 bbs.

Flop- A◇ A♤ 8 ◇

It checks to the BTN who bets 11.66 bbs. SB calls. LJ folds. I call.

Pot- 70.40 bbs

Turn- 6◇ (A◇ A♤ 8 ◇ 6◇)

SB leads out 26 bbs. I thought it was strong but I call. And the BTN calls.

Pot is 148.40 bbs

River is Q heart (A◇ A♤ 8 ◇ 6◇ Q♡)

SB Jams 51.43 bbs.

I am in the tank, in the moment I think its super strong into 2 people. The BTN 3 bet and is a solid reg. SB I didnt know well, seen him get a little unorthodox. At the end of the day that and the fact the price was good I flick and the call.

Ill post results in comment again.

Looking for a poker coach to help me study GTO strategies

My plan is to ask questions daily about my solver work since I am new to solvers, and you can show me ways to make my study routine more effective. There won't be any video calls. At least not for now. And we can agree on a monthly price for this program. You can spend around 10 minutes per day answering questions I have.

There are different ways people study. Some are more efficient than others. My goal is to improve my methods so I can improve the fastest possible. After that, we can also start doing more analysis like focusing on exploitative strategies.

Min buyin

I am by no means a good player. I play low stakes, and a losing player at that too. However recently every time I’ve been low on balance (play fairly regularly) instead of topping up I’ve played out the small balance. And I’ve found I play way way better when I buyin for 30-40BB.

To the point I haven’t had to depo for a very long time because I get down to 30bb and I always end up spinning that up, losing it to 30-40 and repeat.

I’ve since started buying in intentionally for 30BB and am finding significant success. Why is this? Physiological element on other players? On my end? Placebo? I know this sounds stupid.

Facing flop 3-bet, with the nuts - do we just call or get it all in

2/5 game with $15 BTN straddle in this hand; straddle is on most of the night.

Hero has pocket 99. Effective stack sizes are $1600-1800

**Preflop**

BTN straddle to 15

hero flat in SB to 15 with 99 (this is normally a raise but I was playing weird and non-standard lines, don't worry about it); HJ call; CO call; BTN check

**Flop**
4 players to the Flop; Flop is 963 two spades (pot: 60)

Hero check, HJ bet 50, CO call 50

Hero raise to 250

HJ thinks and then clicks it back to 450-500ish (HJ has about 1100 more behind)

Hero ?

I put HJ on a range of sets and combo draws. HJ is a relatively straightforward reg player who plays often. Do we push all in here or do we hope the opponent puts the money in for us on the turn?

Are we ever concerned about the opponent checking back combo draws on the turn to realize equity?

defending bb

id what anyone says defending the bb is by far the biggest reason for me losing at ft i always play perfect for hours it will be like 5 left ill have k5 in the bb and it will be a min raise ill defend king high board either I'll bet get jammed on call off and the have aces or kq Kaj et cetera... if i just stuck to my ranges never play bad hands in big spots ever no matter what i would have won at least 20 more tournaments over my lifetime
